Excellent post game video is pretty telling what kind of players we have on this team. Not what the Martin camp portrayed. This team is one tight bunch getting tighter.Listening to the video these guys must have lockers pretty close and the interview started out with asking Mike Wallace.

Reporter "So Mike how you getting along with your new superstar neighbor ?"

Mike Wallace "I dont like him too much,I liked him the first few days but ever since he's been a superstar I dont like him that much...look at him"

This video is pretty funny...must see.

If Wallace was giving this guy gloves to help him catch, we're going to soon find out that Clemons gave him tips for pulling down clutch INT's when given a chance and Wheeler taught him how to tackle.

I so badly want to make a crack how Wallace wasn't going to use them anyway, but he has been great for us these last few games. Love hearing about this though, totally debunks the image the media was trying to portray of the Dolphins.

Mike is coming around and is having fun now, I am no longer worried about Wallace and less worried that Sherman is finding better ways to get him the ball.

What I see is a couple of players having some fun. In so many other coach and player interviews everything is so serious that I question whether they are enjoying coaching/playing the game. Winning fixes a lot of things but I can't help think that a happy locker room is a good locker room.

"I liked him the first couple days, but now... look at him!"

Classic, lol.

Team having fun! And Wallace being a true teammate. SO not what the media wants to portray, lol.

Another thing: Wow, it's GREAT to see Michael Thomas stepping into the team, with joy and acceptance all around. Sometimes you accidentally hit upon a perfect player for a system, and a perfect collection of players, each understanding themselves within the team and complementing others -- on and off the field.

Seems like that happened a bit w. Michael Thomas: Miami is the right place for him and sounds like he's gonna be alright for Miami.

Acorn to Oak. Yeah!

18TH DEC 2013 | 1 NOTE
MIAMI – Miami Dolphins safety Michael Thomas has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 15, it was announced today by the National Football League.

Thomas, a first-year pro who was playing in his first career NFL game, had 2 tackles, 2 passes defensed and one interception in the Dolphins 24-20 victory over the New England Patriots on December 15, 2013. Thomas, who was signed to the Miami active roster on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 off the San Francisco 49ers practice squad, sealed the Dolphins first victory over the Patriots since December 6, 2009 when he intercepted New England quarterback Tom Brady in the endzone with two seconds remaining preserving the 24-20 victory.

The honor for Thomas marks the second time in team history that a Dolphins player has been honored by the NFL with a Player of the Week award for a performance in their first career NFL game. Following the 1996 season opener against New England, then rookie running back Karim Abdul-Jabbar was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week when he rushed for 115 yards on 26 carries with one touchdown in a 24-10 victory over the Patriots.

Thomas joins defensive ends Olivier Vernon (Week 13) and Cameron Wake (Week Nine) as the third Dolphins defensive player to win Player of the Week honors in 2013.
