I guess I should have clarified... in the PC he brought up how much money ricky has... $250k left to his name..
I think specific numbers should have never been brought up.. we all know he came back for money but why make his personal finances part of a PC that SHOULD be about football..

I think it's a good thing to bring up money. There is NOTHINg wrong with selling your services for money. NOTHING. It's the basic thing that we do as people in an economy. And the more teams understand that Ricky came back because he needs money the more comfortable teams are going to be with Ricky as a player. His trade value will increase tremendously when teams understand that his motivation for playing is "greed" if you want to call it that.

Everyone knows how much money Ricky has / has blown on his habit / will make this season. It's public knowledge. Why shouldn't Mike Wallace bring it up?

Because that's something personal. Just like if Ricky was going through a hard divorce or something like that, you just don't bring it up. Remember when that reporter asked Belichick about his divorce? He got pissed off, and he had every right to be, that's no one's business but his own.njfinfan said:

Ricky's "problems" have been splashed all over the news ever since he quit. Please don't tell me everyone doesn't know how much he makes, how much he has squandered on his habit, etc. Bellichik's divorce is quite different.

Ricky is going to just have to deal with the questions. Im sure Saban made sure that he understood it upon his return. Im sure after the cameras have long gone, Saban has created an atmosphere where Ricky can be successful. In the end.. If he performs well... all is forgotten.
