Arizona cut him last week in order to make cap space for the draft picks and a possible re-signing of Karlos Dansby.

Statistically, Brown was Arizona's best offensive lineman last year and was part of the Cardinals second half resurgance. He's a very pass blocker and is equally adequate at blocking for the run.

I don't know what his asking price at this point is, however I think he could be a very worthwhile pickup for the Dolphins.

I have lived in Phoenix for the last 22 years and seen the rotting corpse that is the AZ Cardinals.

Nobody in their right mind would ever recommend picking up their scraps.

You sir, are quite insane.

This is a bad post. Bad teams can still get rid of decent players, and often ones that looked bad on their original teams. Simeon Rice, Thomas Jones ring a bell?

This is the fourth time somebody brings this guy's name up. He was a backup in a horrible O-line. Our draft picks are better than him.
:o

So, because someone doesn't make a Pro Bowl on a lousy team, automatically they too suck?

I got to see the Cardinals up close many times last season.. And again I tell you, he was one of the keys behind the second half improvement of Edgerrin James and was one of the only consistent linemen on that team last season.

Maybe I'm insane and this thread was "terrible" (if there's any wonder why I stopped posting here with some kind of regularity... it's crap like that), but maybe I think that there's more to a story than a team's record when evaluating an individual player.

The Cards went from being a WCO to power run team. I gotta wonder if M. Brown would fit HH blocking schemes.

I'm sure if we have any interest in him we'll pursue him. I think while we're not completely set on our lineup, we're more interested in making what we have work rather than trying to introduce even more changes. I don't think he comes here for that reason and that reason alone.
