On Afternoon Blitz today Jim Miller could not stop raving about the Fins Defense and that nobody is looking at Miami as a playoff team and they should. With this defense and an improved offense, and a kicker that is more consitant. He's not saying they will the Super Bowl but could be a surprise team nobdy is talking about. He did say a couple of more nice things but you get the point. Most of what he said made sense. (Oh yeah this is with Trent Green at QB). GO FINS!!!!

I hope the Green deal gets done within a week. Then I'd like to see an open competition for starting QB. If Green wins out then DC should be traded to a team that needs a QB like Atlanta.

This team is being built with speed.

Our defense will be real good again no doubt.

Cam will turn the offense around too.

It is going to be an exciting season with a lot of possibility.

Finally something I can agree with you on, fang!

I'm stoked for the season. We may not even have a wining record this season, but I'm still more excited about the possibilities for the future than I have in ages... :rawk:

they got vick and joey harrington so what are you talking about, they need to keep him, if not trade him to dallas or washington

Guys, I like everybody else yearn for the day for playoff and super bowl dolphins football, but we all cant to excited. Last year, we all did, and half way through the season, we were all on the bridge ready to jump off, remember? That team not only had fan high expectations, but they had national expectations too, they were some peoples' super bowl team. I agree they have done some really nice things, and by the end of next year they will be were they wanna be, draft pick, and dead weight contract wise.....They have been very smart so far(IE..no second rounders for harrington), but lets not forget, they are still alittle ways off, with a brutal schedule this year.......Soon brothers and sisters soon, we will have our destiny.....however there defense is gonna be awesome this year, and with an attitude too...............

The Dolphins were a sexy dark horse pic to go the SB last preseason...look how far that got us.

I am a firm believer that the success of this team will land squarely on the shoulders of our offensive line. IF they do well, we will have a good year. IF not... well could be a long year.

this defense needs a lot of help in the backfield that has yet to be addressed... as mentioned in todays sun-sentinal we are actually down a player (goodman) from a backfield that was anything but average at best.

I prefer that the Fins are going in to the season with low expectations. Like finyank13 said, they were way high on expectations last year and were a big let down. This year, I believe, will be just the opposite!

I don't listen to Afternoon Blitz. Is this the same Jim Miller that was the Steelers QB about 12 years ago?
