Miller should get 30 rushes tonite

How about 17 or 18 for Miller and a dozen or so for DT.

Even better would be about 26 for Gillislee and 4 for Miller.

Yes. Run to the left, run to the right, and run up the middle...just run until we can't run no more.

Like the past couple weeks, he'll start rolling and they'll pull him out for DT who comes in and stalls our drive.

I had high hopes for Miller, even early last season, but that 1st half carry where he fumbled against Cincy really highlights a major concern.

First, he doesn't get the carries that everyone would like, because he's not a solid blocker. Can't have a liability in there to block on passing situations.

Second and maybe the biggest concern is his vision, or lack there of... using the Cincy fumble as an example.

He makes some great moves, makes guys miss, and shows flashes of brilliance... but instead of capping it off for 6 he makes a major mental mistake.

He CLEARLY could have continued to his left for a walk into the endzone, even a jumbo jet could have landed without coming remotely close to a single Bengals player.

Instead he chooses to RUN INTO traffic, NOT AWAY from it, gets hawked from behind and the rest is history.

This second pic shows the daylight he had up field to the left... he could have crawled it in.

That was a big fumble in the game that could have helped us immensely, but instead almost cost us dearly.

One run does not make or break a career... but that one run really made me worry about Lamar.

Tampa is supposed to have a very good defense.

If we can rush effectively we win the game, I think it is that simple.

If Ryan is forced to pass and Sherman has to call pass plays all night we are screwed

A big positive is the fact that Miller is on pace for around the same Average Per Carry as last year.

2012 he had 4.9 ypc on 51 attempts in 13 games.

2013 he has 4.8 ypc on 93 attempts in only 8 games.

My favorite thing about Miller from last season was his YPC, and he's not disappointing this year in that regard.

Give Miller the damn ball! I wanna be able to say "Iiiiiit's Miller time!" tonight !!!!!

ABout 22-26 touches is good for Miller. He is not a workhorse back and has durability concerns.

This is why I wish we kept Reggie Bush. Lamar Miller & Reggie Bush would have been a great combination. Lamar Miller likes running on the inside, and Reggie Bush likes running on the outside. Daniel Thomas could have been relegated to 1-2 carries/game (goal line situations).

I agree about keeping Bush, I too wish we held onto him....

But it screams volumes about Ireland's drafting when we're talking about relegating a 2nd round pick to 1-2 carries a game (if that)

That run also shows the potential he has. that explosion and 0-60 in a snap is what makes him scary

20-25 for Miller. Maybe a couple for Clay from FB, and give Gilleslee a shot, and Tannehill keeps a couple is good with me
