Not much in the way of reports right now for Saturday's mini camp practices. Here is all we have so far from Omar Kelly:

http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/26035722.rss

Practice starts in 10 minutes. It's usually hard to figure out who is who between Brian Hartline and Greg Camarillo, which is a god thing.

The Dolphins are running late for this morning's practice. This must be a heavy install (new plays) day for the team because this is rare.

Teams been practicing for a while. we weren't allowed out, which means no tweeting now

The Dolphins were using their REAL offense during this morning session. sexy!

Chad Pennington missed Saturday's practices to attend his sister's wedding

When we find new mini camp reports, lets try and post them all in this one thread.

I like Pennington but It's curious that the day Henne runs the show, the offense looks "sexy".

Henne is going to be a total stud in this league when he gets his chance to start.

More updates from Omar:

Patrick Cobbs scored what would have been two touchdowns in the red zone out of the Wildcat offense.

Jason Taylor admits that he's not very comfortable yet operating from the left side of the defense considering he's always been on the right

Jake Long says the O-line is putting pressure on themselves to run the ball in conventional sets. "We've got a lot to prove to people."

Paul Soliai ran with the starters for 85 percent of Saturday's morning session, and did a good job. Pushed Jake Grove backwards a few times.

CB Jason Allen picked off a jump ball pass to Anthony Armstrong from Pat White for the highlight of the morning session.

The Dolphins officially unleashed the QB buzzer that drove John Beck crazy last season. Pat White needs to speed up his decision making.

Chad Henne will be a better version of Matt Hasselbeck....

Write that down..

Hey Nublar posting Omar tweets are MY THING...

Watch it Buddy..

Observations from Mike Berardino: http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sports_football_dolphins/2009/06/miami-dolphins-day-2-minicamp-observations.html

Fins were a few minutes late hitting the field, most likely because it was a heavy install session today. That put us behind on getting out there as a press corps, about 15 minutes behind, actually.

No Chad Pennington. According to Fins PR czar Harvey Greene, the starting QB left after Friday's afternoon session to attend his sister's wedding at an undisclosed location. He should be back in time for Sunday's single morning workout.

This meant extra reps for Chad Henne, who worked mostly with the first team, and Pat White, who mostly worked with the second and third groups.

Henne and White throwing short passes at a pair of angled target nets on the left side of the field. White seemed to struggle with this drill, at one point nearly missing the net entirely. (Maybe he was aiming for the third red rectangle on the right side of the net.) He later spent some time throwing to a coach on half rolls to his left. Did better with that.

Same deal for David Martin (sports hernia), Andy Alleman (back) and Donald Thomas (torn pec). Still sitting out these drills but watching closely and listening so they don't fall too far behind. Mental reps, I guess they call them.

Tony McDaniel working in at starting right DE alongside Kendall Langford and the ageless Jason Ferguson.

Skeleton drill near the goalline: Henne overthrows Anthony Fasano in the end zone.

Third-string DBs of Joey Thomas and Scorpio Babers at corner, Courtney Bryan and Ethan Kilmer at safety.

Chris Williams getting the first crack at kickoff returns, followed by Davone Bess and Ted Ginn Jr.

Anthony Armstrong failing to corral a pass down the left sideline from Henne with Eric Green in close coverage.

Second team DBs: The rookies, Smith and Davis, at the corners again, with Tyrone Culver and Chris Clemons at safety.

Jy Bond, the Aussie punter, working on his holds.

Shawn Murphy working as the starting RG again, then talking afterward how he's adjustting to the speed of the game in his second summer in the pros.

White to Bess underneath the coverage for a 10-yard score. After that drill ended, Bess staying behind to spend a few minutes for Bill Parcells, who jumps out of the golf cart to demonstrate a thing or two. The talk ended with Parcells giving Bess a fist bump.

White working against the first team D a bit on sets that started at the plus-48.

White overthrows Brennan Marion on a quick out.

White tries to hit TE Jared Bronson down the middle but the throw is too high again.

White incomplete in right flat as RB Anthony Kimble drops it. Maybe a little behind him.

Henne nice completion to Greg Camarillo on a quick out to the left, with Green in coverage. Gain of 10 or so.

Henne to Ernest Wilford along the left sideline, square out, with the rookie Clemons in coverage. Wilford gets the feet down nicely.

Good coverage by CB Will Billingsley on a Henne attempt to Camarillo along the left sideline.

White gets picked off by Jason Allen on a floater intended for Armstrong along the right sideline. The much-maligned Allen has to go up to wrestle this one away from Armstrong, who fights him for the ball even after they land. Safety Courtney Bryan, right there with them in double coverage, grabs Armstrong's legs and pulls in an apparent effort to help. Play of the day really so far.

Lots of work on the run game, especially between the tackles.

Goalline offense from the 8, Henne hits Ginn underneath.

A couple Wildcat plays at last ... or maybe that's just the spread. Whatever, Ronnie Brown takes the snap, fakes the handoff and gives to Patrick Cobbs for a nice reverse around left end and a 12-yard score if he stays inbounds, which it looks like he does.

Lots of throwing balls away -- out of bounds, out of the back of the end zone -- in an effort to avoid mistakes and manage the game in Pennington fashion.

Nice swing pass from Henne to Cobbs in the left flat for another score, this one from 7 yards out.

"Lots of throwing balls away -- out of bounds, out of the back of the end zone -- in an effort to avoid mistakes and manage the game in Pennington fashion. "
Probably a result of the reintroducing of the the 3 second clock- The one that drove Beck mad.

I would compare Henne to Sage or to Earl Morral . I cant wait until the season starts sor I am starting to feel more positive towards having a better season , if only i could keep the media from influencing me in a negative way i would be ok.
Sounds like Patrick Cobbs is doing quite well.

this sounds like trouble for white/i hope he gets his stuff together real soon

He's getting used to no gloves and a bunch of stuff thrown at him while trying not to make a mistake.

Anyone labeling Bust already is assinine.
