Minimal set of actions and progression needed to beat BUF

Looking at what Buffalo did to New England as anything but an anomaly is ridiculous. Miami's game in Buffalo this year should be the barometer. Why did we lose that game? We played them neck and neck in the first half.
Our D is maxxed out, really, all things considered. We simply let too many drives die by being unable to run the ball, especially in short yardage. Ive never seen a team fail on 3rd and 2 or 3rd and inches like Miami did this year. We got knocked out of the playoffs, essentially, when we lost to Jax, because we couldnt gain 18 inches.
We were one position group away from being a playoff team. How Grier gets away from this blame I dont understand.

A speed Mike, Linebacker would do wonders for Miami's defense. And an additional Edge Rusher who can provide both skills of, setting the edge and rushing the passer. Baker and Phillips are about the only players in the front seven, that stand any chance of matching Allen's speed as a QB.

I think people severely underestimate how much a lack of WR talent has held back the Dolphins offense.

Who’s the best WR the Dolphins have had in the past 20 years, other than Waddle?

Brandon Marshall with Matt Moore and Chad Henne at QB? Chris Chambers, who cracked 1000 yards in a season one time? Devante Parker, who’s never even made a Pro Bowl? Jarvis Landry and his 4.8 40? That’s the best we’ve had in 20 years?

The OL is an obvious and enormous problem that will ruin this team until it’s fixed. RB is also a severe hole. But until we finally get some top talent at WR, we’re not going to be a top offense.
