Yeah he said that after the season. He didn’t want to be confined to one spot after the end of last season after his numbers started to taper off over the final six games.
Yeah well, trading him to Pitt and watching him help turn their season around was a double ass ****ing. We couldn’t keep a talented no 1 pick in just his 2nd year, traded him to an 0-3 team thinking we’d get a good draft slot for him and he says **** you back to us by amassing turnovers and touchdowns that helped his team win more games than they should have w/out Big Ben. And he made All Pro. Too bad we didn’t have a taker like Cincy or Washington.
he made all pro off a 3 week span. one of those weeks was a 2 int effort against the fins which doesnt say alot, and IIRC at least one wa right place/right time, someone else made the play and he got the pick.. Only thing that is going to make this trade look worse is...Now that he's built his name and brand (which his brand was the main thing he cared about anyways) his name might get him rewarded over other better players for future type rewards
