I haven't seen reported anywhere exactly how much of a piece of OUR Miami Dolphins Stephen Ross is selling off as minority interests. A minority interest can be anywhere from 1% to 49%. Does anyone know how big of a piece of the Dolphins the Estefan's and Anthony/Lopez's own? :serenades:

Maybe we all should pool our money together and buy a minority interest. LOL.:hi5:

Not 100% certain of this, but I think I heard the Estefan's got about 2% of the ownership. Which is roughly $20 million.

It was not much of the team, heck Wayne Huizenga with his 5% still probably owns more then Estefan and Anthony.

I'm not arguing with you, but using your math, that would make the dolphins worth $1 billion. Which may not be right. What did Ross pay for the Dolphins, 6 or 7 hundred million

1.1 billion wow he shoulda bought the cubs 900million cheaper... lol naw he is more loaded than wayne... He needs to spend some of that money on players.... If we win more people go see the fins... Its the truth

I love the Fins and will always be a fan, but he got ripped. There is no way the Dolphins are worth $1 billion. Or maybe I am the one that is crazy. What was the last team that got sold? Or, I wonder how much Dan Rooney had to come up with to buy the rest of the Steeler's from his brothers?

Yep. Winning brings in all the fair wether fans and bandwaggoneers.

I don't know that Buffet has agreed yet. I thought I read that this morning in the Miami Herald.

And nubs is right. Estephan got 2%. Buffett's been mum on his deal. Not sure about Antony.

I think that Buffett has an option to buy that he has not exercised. His big thing is the stadium name for his Land Shark Lager. By the way, who owns that beer, him or Budweiser, or both?

Well, from what is being said about Marc Anthony's deal, his 2% is valued at 25 million. Which means Ross is valuing the team at 1.25 billion.
