James Walker@JamesWalkerNFL 1m1 minute ago #Dolphins LBs Koa Misi and Jelani Jenkins are working on the side with trainers during media portion of practice. Not good for MIA.

If those two can't go and Trusnik and Wheeler get significant playing time Blount and Gronk are gonna have a field day. Might be nice to see a Tripp sighting. Wonder if McCain is healthy as well?

With Misi and Jenkins not practicing, looks more likely we'll see Wheeler/Trusnik/Sheppard as LBs vs. Pats.DE Jordan can cover Gronk some.

I'm pretty sure I just threw on my keyboard. :puke:

#Dolphins CBs Cortland Finnegan and Jamar Taylor practice for the third straight day. Good sign for those two.

Finnegan and Taylor are practicing so they should be good to go.

Garner and Freeny are still out as well.

I like Tripp and McCain for the future, not sure if they're ready right now

I would not be surprised if Misi is cut this offseason. Every week is a struggle for him to stay on the field, and I am sure the team is getting tired of it. He is getting paid too much to keep around.

i bet both of those guys play Sunday, practice reps this time of the year are meaningless, they have played the pats enough to know what to do.

I love Misi and I think he's filled in admirably in the middle despite it not being his best position, but the guy is always banged up.

Good ole Joe will not allow that to happen. You know his "rule", if you do not practice at all during the week, you do not play.

Aikens absent also..

Dolphins linebackers Koa Misi (hamstring/knee) and Jelani Jenkins (foot) did not practice again on Thursday, raising serious questions about their availability Sunday in New England.

Linebacker Jonathan Freeny (hamstring) also did not practice. Rookie cornerback/safety Walt Aikens was not in attendance during the media portion of practice. He has not been in on any recent injury reports and the Dolphins might need him Sunday. While cornerback Cortland Finnegan is expected to play, Jamar Taylor is less certain. With safety Louis Delmas out for the season, the Dolphins might need Aikens to play safety when Jimmy Wilson shifts to the nickel. It would be less of an issue if both Finnegan and Taylor return because one of them can play the slot.

Misi doesn't need to be cut. He just needs to be moved to his natural position at OLB. This team gets a 3 down MLB with serious run diagnosing instincts and it will help the LB core tremendously. You would majorly upgrade two positions with one acquisition.

Our offense will be on the sidelines all day as our defense gives up 1st down after 1st down all game long.

Me too, and I agree. But I'd rather feed them to the wolves and see more of them over Trusnik.

and mnphin is right. No need to cut Misi and weaken our lb's more. He should be an OLB

MLB would be a high priority for me this offseason
