SAD TO SAY BUT, MISI IS MOVED AROUND A LOT NOT BASED ON HIS PLAY BUT, THE LACK OF PLAY FROM THE OTHER LINEBACKERS !IT has made him better all round just bad he has to pick up other players slack! Hickey has good scouting skills besides rb he is a good defense minded prior scout that will have more input than the coaches believe that. COYLE DID NOT USE THE PLAYERS PROPERLY AND DID NOTUSE ALL HIS OPTIONS DO NOT THINK HE WILL NOT BE ON A HOT SEAT WITH PHILBIN THIS YEAR. HE SLID BY LAST YEAR WITH A DEFENSE THAT DID NOT SHOW UP PREPARED FOR SEVERAL GAMES NOT THIS YEAR PHILBIN GQTTA WIN HICKEY DOES NOT PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

Im not a big fan of the move either. Our LB core was terrible last year...but the only bright spot is that Misi is really settling into a solid 4-3 SOLB. Now we are going to move him to another new position? How about we draft Shazier to replace Wheeler and just leave Ellerbe alone and not make him learn another new position.

Because Ellerbe is terrible. Your MLB is suppose to be instinctive. Ellerbe is anything but. He's slow to read and react. If it weren't for Wheeler everyone would be begging to replace Ellerbe

I can't see Misi as a mike. A 3-4 inside linebacker maybe. But a mike in a 4-3? I don't see that. I've been wrong before though.

We don't really have a good LB on our roster. Watching the Bills double team Starks and Soliai and no LBer could get the ball carrier was sad. The LB swap was right there with Ireland's LT neglect last offseason. Horrible, horrible moves. Now we're stuck with Likely 1 or both of Ellerbee/ Wheeler.

I think it's a bluff also...that they want a mike in the draft...we wouldn't get away with misi in man coverage on 3rd down anyways...I think Mosley can play the middle but more ideally suited to play weak...

I actually think is a pretty outside the box thinking....Misi did play like EVERY position outside of safetey/corner at Utah. Hell, he's played(at least in some schemes) nearly every position in a front seven since he's been in the league. We've been running a hyrbid defense really for about 4 years now(shocking), although some dont notice or accept it.

But on Misi, I think his POA is the biggest flaw in his game. That said, he has the tools, and the fundamentals(not to mention the longest tendered Dolphins at LB). Placing him at MLB will do 1 of 2 things:

1.)Make him into a way better block shredder, thus giving him more confidence at the POA....or

2.)He sucks entirely. Be a liability, and exposes our defense.:crazy:

yes he would be better at mld then wheeler we put misi at mlb and jordan on the outside and we are good
