Dolphins are putting starting DT Earl Mitchell on IR with a calf injury, source says. Doesn't mean his season is over. Could return later.@MikeGarafolo

I'm thinking this could end up being the end with Miami. (this year)

A chance for Warmsley. He might actually make some plays. Not worry about that at all but more worry about Mario not playing this week. We can't count on Wake to start and play the run imo.

Ozzy rules!!

I smell Pot Roast.

Nah don't think so - he couldn't get himself right with BB. Maybe they bring Chris Jones back? or this opens a spot for a Hawk signing for the moment.

... And starting DE Jason Jones can play DE or DT.

Wasn't a case of not getting himself right or in shape. He just wasn't as good playing the style of defensive tackle the Patriots were looking for. Miami's scheme and needs are a little different. Right now Miami just needs another big body to clog the middle and take some of the attention from Suh.

We should have cut him before the season. The cap savings would have been nice. You have to worry about any player that misses all of preseason, and it's not like he's performed well when he was on the field. We certainly won't get our value out if him this year now.

Addition by subtraction. Good luck to him but I hope to never see him suit up in a Dolphins uniform again. Another in a long list of terrible free agent signings

He probably won't sniff the field that much after this. Warmsley and Phillips deserve to be playing over him. No vendetta against him, but, he's never done anything worthwhile in his time here.

Who's Earl Mitchell? Oh wait, he's our emergency fullback, right?

probably started his last game in Miami last week....he's decent depth i don't think he will be back in Miami next year tho unless he takes a major pay cut.

Warmsley and Phillips were both active and showed promise. But they also got blown off the ball at times. They need consistency.
