Has anybody heard about this?

tonight i go to the yankees and rays game.....and we get kicked out during the 7th inning for having shirts with the words Yankees Suck on them....complete bull****.

has anyone heard this ****?
 
also, some guy dressed all nice is the one that confronted us, but when he told us that MLB says they dont want anything with the word sucks because of the kids, my reply was "are you ****ing serious, your biggest sign in the stadium is for budweiser, and you guys are worried about kids reading the word suck? thats ****ing lame"

he aint say ****. which pissed me off even more.

us after we got kicked out. picture sucks and has some middle fingers being thrown up, so i just linked that one.
 
Well, you certainly have a point, man. Chalk it up to the idiots that run the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, because I haven't heard anything like that anywhere. And I'm a baseball guy.
 
I think they are just pissed off because the Yanks do indeed 'suck' this year and they don't like being reminded of it.
 
Why would they kick you out? it dont look like there is 200 people there:lol:

You're so right....65-52 and 3 1/2 out of 1st place does indeed suck. Especially when they're down there playing the 46-73 Devil Rays. :rolleyes:

I went to Yankee Stadium on Sunday and there were many "sucks" shirts around. It's just Tampa who has a problem.
 
I think the RED SOX started this a few years ago. They banned shirts like that. Then MLB picked up on it and made it a rule across the board.

My question is instead of getting kicked out, why didn't you just change shirts? or put the shirt on inside out? Was it worth getting kicked out over?

he did take the shirt off, but then the usher was a nazi about it and came runnin up the isle saying that he was still flaunting it, when in fact he had it laid on his shoulder. it was bull**** all around.
