MNF Giants vs Patriots

Man, I wish we could have “squeaked by” the Browns and held that 17-point lead against the Panthers.

7-5 would look so much better than 5-7. We shouldn’t pretend we’ve had a difficult schedule. Yet, we’re 5-7 and not 10-2.
No one said we have a difficult schedule... we just stink.

Correct….and the Patriots do not stink. Which was my point.
Your right, the Patriots do not stink. That was never the point. The point was a big reason they are the #1 seed in the entire NFL is that comically easy schedule.

So….they're good, just not that good?

I mean who cares? They’re probably going to ride that “comically easy” schedule to the #1 seed and only need to win twice at home to secure another Super Bowl appearance. Remember those? I think I recall one in January 1985. In a season where the Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens have issues, who cares if the Patriots are partially propped up by their schedule?

It’s just immaterial. Do we think the Patriots would be 10-2 if Jerrod Mayo was still the head coach?

You could be absolutely right. They are handling their business as a good team should and they will reap the benefits of that schedule. I think the next 2 weeks will tell us a lot about this team.

I'm just curious if all the brothers that said they'd suck "because they have a meathead coach and an average QB" have practiced any inner reflection to figure out why they had it so wrong...the schedule was the schedule when those claims were made to refute my prediction that they'd be vastly improved over 2024. Probably just need to take off the aqua goggles for a few minutes and it would look completely different.

This isn't me crowning them as the next dynasty or anything near that, but you can only play who is on your schedule, and they've done that to a level that many Dolfans would be hyped up about the Dolphins for doing (see the last few seasons where they fed off scrubs and sucked against winning teams, especially 2023).

As a UNC alum, I told everyone who would listen that Drake Maye would be a star. I am surprised it’s happened so quickly.

Not sold on Maye until he wins a playoff game or two
Are you serious? You obviously have very questionable QB evaluation skills. Look at his numbers dude.

In the 2025 NFL season, Drake Maye has completed 252 of 355 passes, achieving a completion percentage of 71.0%. He has thrown for 3,130 yards, with 21 touchdowns and 6 interceptions, while also maintaining a passer rating of 110.7.

That is crazy good.

Same ones that were probably slobbering all over Stroud a couple of seasons ago. They have never stopped slobbering over Josh Allen though.

The Patriots have had what might be the easiest schedule in NFL history, it's comical just how easy it has been. I get you have to beat what is in front of you and they are doing that but I can still see them being one and done in the playoffs.
Precisely.

There isn’t a single MD fan on earth who wouldn’t want JA as their QB. He’s the reigning MVP. Some of you are such homers it’s laughable.
I was responding in relation to NE having played an absolute cupcake schedule.

Sure however tough to judge when he’s playing the easiest schedule since the nfl switched from 14 game season.

Bengals, giants, titans, jets, raiders, cardinals, Bucs, panthers. All bottom 10 defenses. Saints barely missing at 21st and while Miami is currently ranked 18th let’s not forget Miami was on an historically bad run during their game.

We’ll see what happens in the playoffs before we can get a good grasp of if it’s him or a historically unprecedented run of playing bad teams.

If people were actually nice to “Billsfan” guy you’d have a good point but even that guy would say something eloquent and someone would follow up with something like “eat **** Buffalo sucks” haha

I think everyone here is just pissed all the time and seeing a fan of another better run franchise gets people worked up regardless of substance or content.

This dude wasn’t getting nearly the **** 2 years ago when we were decent. Now? We suck and everyone shits on him.

It’s kinda funny, kinda sad.

Kinda like the Dolphins, actually.
Not at all true but whatever makes you feel better.
I don't care who posts on the forum.

But good god, can't the poster talk football instead of feel-good comments?

Ding ding ding.

It's so hollow. I dont need an aunty level "aw shucks you guys are fine!"
