MNF Top 36 Moments

a game that was good when we were playing the raiders at home like 5 secs left 2 win the game jay fiedler scrambles and dives in the end zone even and we won that was a great game though he sucks that was awsome.

I watched it last night. yeah 85 MNF Dolphins vs Bears is no 1 best MNF ever. second is Jets comeback. Dick Anderson 4 int vs Steelers also in top 10 best MNF. Raiders safety Eddie Anderson int Marino's pass return for 102 yards in top 15 I think. though that's Raiders only score that night Dolphins beat Raiders 20 to 7 in 92.

I was watching this at the bar last night without captions. I was like "Is there some kind of Dolphin tribue on?" because everytime I looked at the screen it seemed to have the Dolphins on. How many highlights did we have?

I would imagine that one on the list was probably when Earl Campbell ran for like 800 yards against us many moons ago...

Well Jerry Rice broke the all time touchdown receiving record against us.The record books goes both ways .

That was not a Monday Night game.

Does anybody really think last years upset of the Pats would make the list? We beat them in a meaningless game, that was poorly played by NE. I love that the Bears game was 1#, and deservedly so, I also thought the shootout with Cleveland in `88 would have made the list. I loved seeing Dick Andersons 4 picks against Pittsburgh, I never knew that. I also thought 49er John Taylors two 92 yard TDs against the Rams would have been higher up. All in all a pretty good showing by our Dolphins...too bad we won`t be able to make some new MNF memories in `05.

Man...what I remember about the Monday night bears game was the Orange bowl was Electric with excitement.Very loud croud.Had all the markings of a great game.

Undefeated team facing the only team to go undefeated in an entire season.I purchased my first VCR that week leading up to game and wanted to try it out not realizing what a game it would be.I watched that game about 40 times since.

There was alot of hype all week about the matchup.

Dolphins were 7-4 at the time tied with two other teams for the afc east and we needed the win to keep up.The win did allow us to get a wildcard spot losing to New England in the Conference championship.

The Jets/Miami game didnt have the hype leading up but had the excitement with the comback.Jets were favored to win the game being at home but fell behind early causing the comback.

Man I miss watching games in the OB....

Why lots of Dolphin highlights on MNF

For us of the pre-Sunday Ticket generation who do not live in FLA, the Dolphins were on MNF 2 or 3 times a year consistently. :)

Shula kept them competitive always, and it was just a great venue.

As a Dolfan growing up in Philly, this was one of the few opportunities to see my team. (Woot - Sunday Ticket now :D )

If they weren't playing in the actual MNF game, you could see about 30 seconds of highlights of the Miami game from Sunday on the MNF halftime highlights. (Pre-ESPN) ;)

Have to say...been busy this off season, I did not realize that we have no primetime games (weird)I had to read the primetime TV schedule 4 times to make myself believe its true.

For as long as I remember (early 80's) we played atleast one game on monday night or sunday night in most times 2-3 a year.Think there was 1 year with no Primetime game in the last 25 years.

Thanks Wanny :fire:

Being a NY phin fan I was assured 6 games on average a year for 20 plus years with 2 Monday/Sunday and a mixture of a Jets/Bills/Pats day games, thank god Direct TV is around to allow me to see all the games.
