Not sure if anyone's been talking about it..but...I thought the momentum shifted at the end of the first half. I felt we got screwed by the initial touchdown call that was reversed...this gave the Saints another play that they shouldn't of had.

They were down at the one with :05 seconds left and no timeouts. There is no way they get to the LOS and spike the ball in time for another play. If the official calls this correctly from the start, we go into half time still up 24-3. Instead, they get another play at the one and we go into half up 24-10 on a down note. I thought this was the turning point in the game.

Any thoughts??

i've been saying that also.. complete disaster yesterday. the referees completely screwed us on that play. along with the sharper "touchback" and camrillos forward pass. what a joke. the ball never even went FORWARD!!!

the ball never even went FORWARD!!!

Good point. Not sure what it is?? But it sure seems like any close call always goes against us. I hate saying that because I don't want to sound like a friken whiner, but it stands out more in games like yesterdays.

Its a close call and they are always going to review it no matter what under 2 minutes. What occurred right after is where the momentum shift changed because the saints were lined up to kick a field goal and we call a TO which then stopped the clock. Brees then went to Payton and said lets go for it and their O came trotting back out onto the field. If we dont call a TO once the ball is spotted the clock would have started and they kick the FG and we are still up 3 possesions going into the locker room. Giving up 3 opposed to 7 would have been huge I think for the team.

the biggest Momentum shift in the game was the pass to Ginn he muffed and booted up and around that sharper returned for 6...

it was a perfect pass that if he would have caught, it would have showed the Saints Henne can beat the blitz, it would have kept the ball moving and been around midfield, even if we stalled there, we punt and pin them deep and they are still down 14... that play changed absolutely everything

True, but if they call it the other way, meaning.. say he was down at the one then let the time run out, which would have happened. Then review to see if he gets in. If he gets in, they get their touchdown they deserve, if not the Fins get the stop they deserve. The way they called it gave NO the benefit.
