I have thought of a different scenario from my previous mock and here it is.

1-Aaron Maybin OLB/DE (Penn State)
2a-Ron Brace NT (Boston College)
2b- Kenny Britt WR (Rutgers)
3-Tyronne McKenzie OLB (South Florida)
4-Victor "Macho" Harris CB (Virginia Tech)
5-Jasper Brinkley ILB (South Carolina)
7a-Dan Gronkowski TE (Maryland)
7b-Greg Isdaner OG (West Virginia)
7c-Jose Valdez OT (Arkansas)

like your draft. I've never put one together before but a first time for everything

My mock draft for 2009:
1-Hakeem Nicks-WR-NC
2-Sean Smith-Cornerback-Utah
2-Michel Johnson-DE-Georgia
3-Brace-Nose Tackle-BU
4-Pat White-WR/QB/RB
5- Center
7-Offensive Tackle
7-another defensive linesman
7-full back

just to critique your mock a bit, Johnson probably wont be there and brace will be a 2nd probably, but its your first so...

Giving our major needs at CB, I would hate if we didn't look at a CB until the 4th.

I think you would switch the Brace and Britt picks just by who might be there.

ya i dont like it at all. Maybin is overrated, Brace is a reach adn Britt wont be there. Plus we have no CB to start.

Grade : C+

Need a CB in 1st or 2nd Round
I do see Victor "Macho" Harris falling to 3rd Round
How tall is Tyronne?
Ilkie the TE in 7th

i like your draft overall. i would like to find a way to get Pat White, but this draft is very solid. Nice work.

MiamiFinsJC, we cannot wait until the 4th round to address the cornerback situation, and I'm fairly certain the FO will feel the same way. But that draft is pretty solid otherwise. McKenzie would not be a good fit for the 3-4 though, he is strictly a cover-2 backer at this point.

And Rio, I would cream my pants if our draft ended up like that. Although it's highly unlikely we end up with all those players, it's still nice to dream! ;)

well here is my mock draft but iamnot sure where these fellas will go .

rd 1 DT Vincent Rhodes Baylor this kid is like a bulldozer .

rd2a wr Deon Murphay kansas State
rd2b nt Brandon Nicholas colorado

rd3 cb Sean Witherspoon Missouri
rd4 cb ( best player available)
rd5 Ilb Rico McCoy
rd6 dt Jerray Chatham
rd6 b cb Armando Murillo
rd 7a and 7b trade these picks and a 6th round pick for another 5th round pick

just experimenting here so dont shoot me.

I made two mocks, one the day after the first, and it was just two different scenarios. Mock 2.0 doesn't mean my updated version of who i think we are going to take in the present moment. That being said I take more pride in my first mock, though some say it seems a bit un-realistic. I am hoping we can snag Sean Smith in the second, but this mock i made was assuming the FO would possibly go into the season with the players we have now, or if we would push for a veteran guy closer to Training Camp. I also saw "Macho" Harris play a bunch and i liked everything i saw from him. He is a later round player i think could come in and push for a starting spot opposite will allen.

I'm new at this stuff and wasn't aware about McKenzie being a cover 2 linebacker. I hope to improve in this area of my analysis

Sorry, but do you follow football? :err:

trade the 7ths for a 5th...... that is math even i can tell is wrong.

What I think we should do

1. Larry English OLB/DE (Another Pass rusher to complement Joey)
2a. Hakeem Nicks WR (Big, Strong, Possesion reciever that can run after the catch)
2b. Alphonso Smith CB (Solid CB to fight for the starting spot across from Will Allen)
3. Pat White QB (Very Valuable pick...Wildcat?)
4. Terrance Taylor NT (Eventual replacement for Ferg)
5. Jasper Brinkely ILB (Solid Depth)
6. FB
7a. BPA
7b. BPA
