Active Roster
1 - Trade - Atlanta Falcons - Jadeveon Clowney DE
Crennel has stated he will use multiple fronts. He already has Mercilus for that 'elephant' 'Mcgniest' role and Brooks Reed opposite. Atlanta has no pass rush. Nolan runs a 3-4 where one OLB is 90% a pass rusher. Clowney would be ideal. IMO Texans will want to trade out so much that it wont take as much as expected for Falcons. Maybe a 1st, future 1st and 3rd this year.
2 - St Louis Rams - Mike Evans WR
I dont see why Greg Robinson is needed. Long is back from injury and played well last year. Barksdale played well last year at RT and they have Saffold if needed. At present they have Givens, Pettis or Quick lined up on outside and they had approx 90 receptions between them last year. Sammy Watkins is a more well rounded WR, but Rams play Seattle, 49ers and Arizona, who all have physical CB's. Mike Evans IMO would be more productive than Watkins in St Louis. I think they will target WR & Safety and #13 will net a safety.
3 - Jacksonville Jaguars - Greg Robinson OT
They have signed Chris Clemons & Jason Babin for that 'leo' position. At present they have Cameron Bradfield lined up to man RT spot. Exactly. Robinson would be ideal to man that RT spot oppsoite Joekel. He would aid that power run game. I know WR is just as much of a need but IMO you can get a far better WR in round 2 than an OT.
4 - Trade - Tampa Bay - Sammy Watkins WR
I think Cleveland will be looking to take a QB with their first pick. TB needs a WR and Watkins falling to 4 is ideal for them. Browns want Bortles or Carr so trading down 3 spots does not affect them.
5 - Oakland Raiders - Eric Ebron TE
At present they have David Ausberry lined up at TE. Exactly. Mack is the BPA, but they have signed Woodley & Justin Tuck. Mckenzie reached for Hayden last year. I believe he will do same and get Shaub a much needed TE and the best pass catcher available.
6 - Houston Texans - Khalil Mack OLB
This works out perfectly for the Texans. BPA and position of need.
7 - Cleveland Browns - Blake Bortles QB
Kyle Shanahan is the OC and he will run a ZBS scheme with lots of bootlog and play-action. Browns traded down to get a QB and they get the best one to effectively run the Shanahan WCO.
8 - Trade - Miami Dolphins - Jake Matthews OT - The Vikings signed Matt Cassell and have Ponder. Granted they need a QB but I dont think they will take one this high as I feel they will be targeting a LB 1st pick. CK stated that Miami and Vikings have already discussed trade of JM if he falls this far. IMO they signed Cassell for a reason and they will target Mosley or Shazier later on.
9 - Buffalo Bills - Zach Martin OL
I think they will want a pass catcher or DE, but no WR warrants a pick this high and IMO Barr fits best to a 3-4. They need OL help badly. They had poor play at OG and have Pears at RT. Martin moving inside wins over Lewan. He can play OG this year and move to RT next.
10 - Detriot Lions - Taylor Lewan OT
At the moment they have Riley Reiff (who wasnt even the best OG) and LaAdrian Waddle at OT. They need to protect Stafford.
11 - Tennessee Titans - Anthony Barr OLB
moving to a 3-4 and the best rush LB is Shaun Phillips who is more suited to a situational role. Need and BPA.
12 - New York Giants - Alan Donald DT
NYG always go BPA. AD is the BPA and fits a need. If it wasnt for his size he would be mentioned in the same breath as Clowney & Robinson as athletic freaks. Him and JPP will wreak havoc side by side.
13 - St Louis Rams - Hasean Clinton-Dix FS
They had awful safety play last year. I like Pryor but Hasean is the better FS of which I feel is the bigger need.
14 - Chicago Bears - CJ Mosley ILB
They have a need inside, while also having Briggs coming to end and Shea McCellin who is best rushing the passer. Mosley is excellent in zone coverage. Also I think they can wait on CB and no DT I like at this point.
15 - Pittsburgh Steelers - Justin Gilbert CB
They need a corner and Gilbert is the most natural cover corner in draft.
16 - Dallas Cowboys - Kony Ealy DE
IMO the best 4-3 pass rushing end behind Clowney. Cowboys pass rush lasy year was aneamic and they have also lost DeMarcus Ware.
17 - Baltimore Ravens - Calvin Pryor SS
I think they will pair him with Matt Elam and forget about the safety position for next 10 years. They need a SS and he is BPA.
18 - New York Jets - Odell Beckham WR - They need another pass catcher and Beckham fits the bill. This would allow Kerley to do what he does best and man the slot.
19 - Minnesota Vikings - Ryan Shazier OLB - Their best LB is Chad Greenway who is on the downside of his career and although he made a lot of tackles, was very poor last year. Other than that they have nobody else. Shazier would provide Zimmer with an athletic LB to kick off his HC career.
20 - Trade - San Francisco - Bradley Roby CB - Physical and quick. As with Aldon Smith they are not shy to take a risk on players with great physical attributes. They need a CB and trade up to get the one they want.
21 - Green Bay - Marqise Lee WR - They have recently lost Greg Jennings & James Jones. Lee fits what they do in GB and alows Cobb to play in the slot.
22 - Philidelphia Eagles - Brandin Cooks WR - Fast, good after catch, great flexibility without the hassle of a DeSean Jackson. Perfect fit for Kelly's offense.
23 - Trade - Jacksonville Jaguars - Johnny Manziel QB - KC recoups their 2nd round pick and Jags get their future franchise QB in the mould of Russel Wilson.
24 - Cincinatti Bengals - Xavier Sua'Filo OG - They lost Anthony Collins, which allows Whitworth to move back to his best position of OT. Leaves a massive gap at OG which is filled immediatelly.
25 - San Diego - Darquize Dennard CB - BPA and a position of need. Easy pick.
26 - Cleveland Browns - Kyle Fuller CB - They have their QB and need a CB next to Haden. Fuller fits what Pettine wants and his excellent value at this point.
27 - New Orleans Saints - Kelvin Benjamin WR - I think with him Graham and Colston, they would create matchup nightmares, which Brees and Payton thrive on.
28 - Carolina Panthers - Joel Bitonio OT - They need O'line help all over. Bitonio is a little off Martin and can cover the weakest point on line.
29 - Trade - Houston Texans - Teddy Bridgewater QB - Dropped due to terrible pro day but was best playing QB in draft this year. O'Brien likes QB's who make smart decisions, high football IQ and he would fit O'Briens rhythm passing perfectly in Texas. NE wants a TE and is happy to wait until top of 2nd.
30 - Arizona Cardinals - David Carr QB - they trade down and get their future franchise QB to groom for a year. Palmer is due crazy money next year so it makes sense to nab the player who fits what Arians wants.
31 - Denver Broncos - Jason Verrett CB - They struggled defending the pass last year. Adding Ware and a healthy Miller will massively help, but adding another CB like Verrett will only help the cause. If a couple of inches bigger and lbs heavier he could have been the first CB off the board.
32 - Seattle Seahawks - Cyrus Kouandijio OT - Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch have made this line look far better than what it is. Before combine he was ahead of Greg Robinson on boards. Ideal for the hawks power run game. Could immediatelly start at RT barring injury.
Crennel has stated he will use multiple fronts. He already has Mercilus for that 'elephant' 'Mcgniest' role and Brooks Reed opposite. Atlanta has no pass rush.
