I have been surfing the net looking for mock drafts to see what the so called experts have the dolphins drafting with the 9th pick in the first round, I've seen so many drafts and the three positions they see us going for is: CB, DT, and OT. what do u guys think about us drafting one of these positions in the first round? I would personally like to draft I linebacker in the first round. thoughts?

IMO, the ideal draft situation would be to somehow trade up--if possible--to draft Joe Thomas. We NEED him anchoring the left side of our line.

Perhaps the only inside linebacker I'd be able to stomach tacking 9th overall is Patrick Willis, and even then, I'd prefer we take one of the top-3 QBs or WR Dwayne Jarrett above all else.

He looks really good, but should we take that risk? there's a chance he could be Robert Gallery.

They are our biggest needs, yes. They are, however, the weakest positions in the draft.

Unless Joe Staley really impresses at the combine, theres no Tackles worth taking top ten (aside from Joe Thomas, obviously). And levi Brown is not.

As for CB's, almost all of them have question marks. Leon Hall got torched in the USC game, McCauley has looked down right aweful this year, and Revis hasn't really blown anyone away either. However, if Antoine Cason declares, many expect him to become the #1 corner takin in this draft. i dont know much about him.

Dt- If Branch is there, he'd be a great pick. Maybe Okoye too.

However, i want Brohm if hes there. Willis and Landry would be good picks as well though.

Looks like Brian Brohm isnt entering the draft :( so looks like only 2 top 10 QBs and theyre both gonna be gone by our pick

DB help would be huge. I like Thomas on the line, but he will probably be gone by 9. Our secondary could use help big time though

I dont think WR is a top concern. We have some good guys alreay, and some young guys right now. Unless Johnson or Jarett are there, which they won't be. Its a waste. We have other needs first

Im pretty positive that Jarrett will be there. Childress is very afraid of drafting a reciever in the first round...

I know Quinn Russel and Brohm are the top Qbs but what about Smith? is he worth taking in the second round? I hear he might be there. and what's the deal with the Qb from hawaii? if he enters the draft , what round will he be in?

a lot of people want reciever. would u guys go WR if the top two are gone by our pick?

I do believe that WR is a much more dire need than some of these guys assume...yet it would serve us better to attempt to fill as many of these needs as we can "prior" to the draft so that we can have more options...example:

If we trade a 3rd rounder and whatever else for Randy Moss... and sign Leonard Davis and Nate Clements "or" Adalius Thomas ...we then have the option to go BPA or even have the option to trade Chambers for a pick and select yet another WR at #9 to completely overhaul the WR corps...or keep Chambers and go CB if we signed Thomas or OLB if we signed Clements...or we can even select one of the QBs if one shoulld fall...

dude, branch is NOT a 3-4 NT!!! He doesnt have the strenght or power for a 3-4. and Revis would probably be the first DB taken depending on his combine. Cason is returning to school

why moss man? no thanks. he seems dead out there cuz of tgeh Oakland thing and who knows if he has any emotpions for the game left cuz of it ala B. Sanders.

Remember what happened in last years draft to Matt Leinart, he was projected to go high but lasted till 10. So you never know how things are going to play out.
