I like the FA signings.

I think if we sign 3 Olinemen , especially a LT , then I think we could go with another position in the 1st round, like TE or LB.

I saw realistic and then read all of your signings which contradicted that

I am not crazy about Knowshon but the rest is outstanding. Bring it on!

How so? 33 Million in Cap Space after cutting Dmitri Patterson. And can get out of the terrible contracts of the 2013 off-season next off-season (Wallace, Ellerbe, Wheeler, Hartline)

You're way underestimating the contracts and likeliness that we sign both beadles and Schwartz. Beadles is young and will want atleast a 4 year/5-6 mil a year deal. Schwartz may not command such long til but will still want around 5mil a year. Same with dqwell Jackson, if he signs here it'll be for starter money again another 5-6 mil a year. Realistically we have the money but signing all big names like this isn't very realistic.

I'm not either but he is the best running back available in free agency or the draft. He can run between the tackles, pass protect, and catch the ball outta the backfield. Nothing to write home about, but is an average-above average starting running back and a big upgrade over what we have.

Like FA although most of those signings are not "realistic." Have heard folks say that Monroe isn't a ZBS LT which is why he was useless in JAX.

Your draft doesn't do anything to help us that much imo. Besides Niklas, no one really strikes me as a franchise-changer that we need. Martin, though he supposedly can play any position along the OL, is projected as a OG. No way we draft two CB after the two we drafted last year and I'd rather Jaylen Watkins. Hurst provides good depth. Freeman doesn't do anything for me, probably won't make the roster. Sunseri also doesn't do anything for me.

Sorry but that just isnt realistic

No one is giving Beadles 5-6 million. Or Schwartz. That's what Louis Vasquez got last year and he is one of the best 5 guards in the league. Check out http://overthecap.com/top-player-salaries.php?Position=G

4 million per year for Knowshon is what Stephen Jackson and Reggie Bush got last year, very generous for Knowshon. D'Qwell Jackson is 30 and just got cut by the BROWNS. He is an above average starter. Not going to get a big deal.

It actually is. Especially once you consider we can get out of the bad contracts from 2013 off-season next year (Wallace, Ellerbe, Wheeler, Hartline)

I will say signing Jairus Byrd is a stretch. He's the best Free Safety in the NFL that's why I included him in here. A more "realistic" signing would be Delmas or bringing back Clemons. Not "realistic" but it is "possible"

They said the same thing about Justin Pugh (because of his short arms) and he played alright at RT. Martin is a much better prospect than Pugh. Martin will be a pro bowl RT or Guard. So I would consider him a franchise-changer. Not going to find many franchise-changers at pick #19. As for Freeman and Sunseri not doing anything for you, they're 5th and 6th round picks. You aren't going to find impact players on Day 3.

I like the overall direction, but realistic is a stretch. This is more a get into this room full of money and grab as much as you can in 30 seconds...

Eugene Monroe: Young, talented OT is in line for a contract at least $9m in value...I think $10-12m. Could see Veldheer and Albert getting a contract in the $8m range though.
Jairus Byrd: Probably not far off...think it'd be closer to 50 than 44 at the end of the day but $9m a year is probably a decent bet.
Linval Joseph: Think that's spot on.
Knowshon Moreno: Seems about right...think a slightly longer term like Reggie's 4@16 is more likely.
Zane Beadles: I saw a rotoworld projection at 5@25. Think it's somewhere between the two figures, but right ballpark.
Geoff Schwartz: Considered by many as the top guard in FA, not sure if he's a great scheme fit. Think a 4@20-24 is what he'll get.
D'Qwell Jackson: Don't like Ellerbe at will...but contract makes sense.
John Kuhn: Think he's slightly cheaper considering he was offered the minimum by the Packers.

Would probably not go OL in the first with this haul though. Niklas looks great.

I do like taking Freeman, he could be very good and Moreno doesn't suck, he just isn't great.
