Let me know what you guys think, this isn't focused as much on the draft picks but more on the depth chart. I know we need Jake Long more, well at least in my opinion we do, but I think we get more talent and fill more needs with Chris Long And Cherilus in the second round. Chris would ideally be a linebacker but with Joey Porter and Jason Taylor there, he'd have to start at DE.

Chris Long wont start at DE. If thats where he ends up, then drafting him was/is a huge mistake. If he is drafted, I FULLY expect a JT trade.

I definitely agree with you. I just put him there for lack of a better spot, I'm not projecting any trades, only depth chart from what we have and the draft.

I like it.
But i dont know if we can get all those top teir rookies, but let hope so.

Ohh and for the money they paid Randy Starks he better be higher the 3rd string.

I don't see Chris Long at DE either and I doubt we'll draft a small speed WR when we already have Ginn....I could see us drafting James Hardy if he's there at 32 tho.

Ozzy rules!!

I like Hardy too. Big receiver!

Only knock could be his 2006 arrest.

sorry,I was confusing Doucet with Jackson but I still like Hardy better.I think we need a TE more than a WR tho.

Yah, no way Fred Davis drops that far. Maybe not Justin King either....But if that was to happen that would be a nice draft for us.

yeremiah bell?

Sorry, I did totally forget about Yeremiah. He or Hill would start. The other would be second string. And also, whichever WR, be it Hardy, DeSean or Early Doucet... They would most likely be in that third spot. I just chose Early Doucet because I'm a huge LSU fan and I saw a lot of him this season, the same with Craig Steltz. I also agree it's a bit of a stretch for Fred Davis to slip that far but he very well may with his crappy pro day.

Lehan would start over Daniels, he is terrible

I like Lehan, a lot but Sparano did say he's excited to see how Travis Daniels will play and I think that they'll give both he and Lehan a lot of playing time this year.

“Right now we’re going to look at him as a corner, with the safeties we brought in. We know he has the ability to play two positions back there and on game day that’s important. On game day you’re looking for guys that can do more and Travis is a young player we feel can do a few things back there. He’s one of those young guys we’re excited about watching, but we’re going to start him right now at corner.â€

Just a note: If we used Jason Taylor and traded him for a reasonably good Left Guard we'd have a really solid team based off of this. Drew Mormino is then depth for us. We'd also clear plenty of cap to sign Chris Long.

This draft should reflect in our ability to score points. We need a support player such as an offensive lineman. We have another valuable pick ahead of us that we can use on a defensive player. A lot of teams out there have fill in their voids in lasts years drafts with quality tackles. I expect us to draft a top nose guard with our 2nd round pick.
