Moderation Question

How are moderators chosen?

I'm very interested in becoming a moderator here. I know I'm relatively new, but I am a moderator on 2 other message boards and come with experience, enthusiasm, and most important.....I'm a HUGE Miami Dolphins fan!! :) Thanks.

Moderators are choosen by current staff. There are many aspects that we look for in an individual. One thing I usually look for is how long the prospective staff member has been with the site and what has he/she already contributed?

In the end, there are many attributes that we look for. You being a moderator probably know a lot of those atrributes (how individuals deal in certain situations for example).

I'm not sure when we'll be looking for another moderator, however...

Thanks for the info. I just want to be kept in mind for when the next selection comes up. Until then, this is a great site and I'll do my best to offer whatever I can to keep it that way. :)
