For those of us not able to stream these interviews, anyone who wants to summarize the highlights would be appreciated.

Sent from my phone, so please forgive any typos.

Pretty much what you'd think Digial. Everyone excited just playing football again. The defense is coming together with a few new additions and on offense all are getting use to the new playbook.

I was expecting Knowshon Moreno to be resembling John Jerry after the comments about him coming in with a big belly.
The video doesn't show his belly but check out his huge guns. Knowshon has invested time in the gym. I was also very impressed by his sensible answers. Methinks we picked up a very good character leader.

He's got plenty of time to get into football shape and supposedly he always comes to OTA's a little heavy so maybe we over reacted to the weight . The guys a pro so I think he'll adjust well to our offense.
Miller seems to be getting the first team reps now but I could see a nice combination especially with Moreno's pass catching talents and Miller's big play potential. Maybe Miller first and second down then Moreno passing downs and goal line or something like that.

LOL reporters asking Philibin why they use Jordan on punt returns and kickoffs.
Gave some interesting answers that he moves and tackles well and can keep up
with smaller players. Also mentioned Jordan covering the tight ends more..

The only bits of note I can remember are:

Finnegan saying he has never experienced practice speed like this in either the Titans or Rams. The pace is very high and should help conditioning and getting used to play speed early in the season (maybe a contributor last year to our 4-0 start)

Jamar Taylor saying he's being used a lot in the slot, which he played quite a bit in college when a teammate was injured and he trained there last season. Seemed confident and composed.

Philbin very pleased with install and attitude of players around OTAs. Seemed more relaxed and in control in interview than he often does. Said that the concept of getting ball out quickly after huddle breaks and all the motions/screens etc will be a balancing act, because it compresses the time you have to read the defense and there will be times that the offense will need a few seconds to key in the defensive setup and playcall accordingly.

Moreno was confident and well-spoken, but sounded a bit short and abrupt with the journos, I'm guessing he's not happy with being mostly in the 2nd/3rd team, which is a good thing.

The rest was mostly regurgitation and media-friendly waffle.

(On if the new offense’s use of players in motion challenges the offensive installation) – “Yeah, definitely. If you’re stationary and you’re sitting at the line of scrimmage and your ducks are in a row as we like to say, it’s a little bit easier from an offensive perspective, but you’re not challenging the defense probably as much. There is give and take. I think, as a coaching staff, we have to examine (whether) is all of this motion and shifting a detriment or is it a benefit? And what’s the right blend and what’s the right balance. Some weeks, it may be quite a bit because you have a good feel for what you’re going to get. You have to be able to live with the fact that sometimes you’re going to snap the ball and it might not be the exact right defense that you’d like to call that play against because you’re doing it on the move and you’re not going to stop and re-direct and communicate and do that stuff. As with anything in football, there’s pluses and minuses, but we’ve been stressing the tempo and getting up, fast motion, fast shifts, snap the ball and get going.”

(On how much pre-snap motion there was when he was coaching for the Green Bay Packers) – “Yeah, we did some. It’s always a little different. OTAs and the regular season, again, you want to start aggressive with everything and then you kind of pull the reins back. If you’re kind of playing here and then, all of a sudden, you get to the season and, hey, let’s start doing this, this and this, and they don’t have reps at it and they’re kind of getting a little queasy. So I think on both sides of the ball you kind of want to expose them to as much as you can, knowing that there’s no perfect scheme, there’s always some challenges and then you make decisions from there.”

(On the difference in him now compared to last year) – “I’m healthy, man. I’m healthy and I’m coming into an organization and a system that I’m familiar with now. I’m just more comfortable. I’m out there and it’s less thinking. As a rookie, most of the time, you’re so worried about not messing up that you don’t make a lot of plays. But now, I’m just playing.”

(On him moving around a lot today in practice and if it’s something he did in college or if it’s new) – “I’ve been doing this since high school, same thing. I’ve started on every special team or on the defense, too. It’s nothing new, but, like I said, if you’re able to come out here in this heat and practice that way, then game time is cake.”

(On if he never was really healthy last season) – “No, not coming into the season, I wasn’t.”

(On if he was healthy by the end of last season) – “I was much better, but it was still something that I had to deal with. It’s hard to get better health-wise when there are live bullets every Sunday.

(On the defense adjusting to all of the offense’s motion) – “Yeah, our offense now is a lot of people moving, a lot of moving parts. You’re getting used to that, a lot of different formations. We’re adjusting to it as we go, but it’s good and it’s making us better.”

(On how the offseason has been for him now that he has been with the team for a year) – “Oh, it’s cool. It’s not a new environment. I know I’m comfortable here and just playing ball. That’s what I do. I just want to get out here and play some football.”

(On if he’s seen any similarities between him and CB Cortland Finnegan) - “We both play corner. We both cover the receiver in front of us. It’s pretty simple. I don’t know any other similarities. We’re both trying to get picks, pass breakups.”

Cortland Finnegan

(On how much the pace and motions in the offense challenge the defense) – “It’s huge. You try to look at route concepts and quarterback drops and everything, but you’ve got people moving around, running around constantly. So it’s hard to do, so you’ve got to play it honest. I think it’s great what the offense is giving us. It’s going to help us game time. Game speed’s going to definitely be slowed down for us and we appreciate it.”

(On how much he would compare the offense to what he’s seen from with the St. Louis Rams and the Tennessee Titans) – “I’ve never seen anything this fast. It’s great. It’s going to be great for us as an offense and defense. To go against one another, compete at this level and do it with this many bullets flying and people running around. So I’m enjoying it.”

(On working with the young cornerbacks after practice and what he was showing them) – “Just simple stuff, press technique, that I can work on as well as they can. We’re all trying to get better. You’re only as good as our second-string and third-string, and those guys are one play away from being in the game. So any time we can get them up to speed on everybody’s level, I think it builds for a better football team.”
