Montee Ball Out 2-3 Weeks

Ball was not really playing very well even before his injury, averaging only 3.1 ypc. Take it from someone who owns him in fantasy. :bobdole:

CJ Anderson is probably the most talented runner on that roster (5.2 ypc), but he's also raw, obviously. I can't speak specifically to his receiving or pass blocking. Haven't studied Denver yet. JuWaun Thompson also flashes when he has the ball in his hands. But he's also raw.

I posted these in the other threads , updates on Thomas and Sanders.

I heard his ankle is heavily taped and he is walking fine.

Broncos TE J. Thomas on ankle; "I'll be OK'' and "I wasn't anticipating it being season ending or anything'' was walking around locker room

No doubt! RT @DustyW75: I know if it wasn't 4 this new Concussion Protocol u probably would have just dusted urself off & got back in there.

I am sure they will have the weapons they need in this one. The thing about the injuries at RB is how well they pass protect.

With Manning having a week of practice with them, I bet he gets them up to snuff. However, they were terrible yesterday.

Our Run d is actually good against physical backs, bad against quick backs.

I disagree, our run d is very susceptible to big heavy runners. Did you see the KC game, Detroit game and the Jags. I think we are still missing that big nose tackle that can plug the hole and a run stuffing LB.

The KC game we got our lunch handed to us by an unsuspecting RB in the pass game.

With Peyton, the entire offense is the pass game. They are already one dimensional people. think about that with our defense. coyle is drawing up all kinds of goodies.

The lack of a running game is attributing to Denvers recent down turn in play. More from a lack of trying than not being able. It will be intersting to see if they try and establish it and if they can't, how quickly they abandon it. Making them one dimensional is big.

Montee Ball STINKS and this isn't good news.

I agree with you im more leary of CJ Anderson and Hillman then Ball who is a plodder and i think we should be able to handle..
To the above poster posting about Knile Davis being a slow power runner that hurt us, you know the guy ran a 4.37 at the combine at 220 pounds.. I wanted that guy later in the draft off that potential alone in 2013.. My point is he is not a plodding RB but an explosive runner who honestly could probrably make Jamal Charles expendable in the future.

Miami does usually fair better against RB's who are slow power runners, I don't see the bronco's with ball destroying us with the run but if manning gets going its going to make their run game effective.
