if smith signs, moore better be able to compete. dont see it happening tho. i just dont see alex as an upgrade. not bashing any player or FO, just dont see how this makes us a better team. someone who thinks smith is better please explain what you see that i dont

You are right that Moore should be allowed to compete. I wonder if they jettison him for a late pick before it is over.

I think at this point they should make Moore the starter, draft Tannehill, Weeden or Cousins at some point in the draft and go from there.

You are right AGAIN though that if Smith is signed he will be the guy.

There has to be a McCarthy/Philbin connection to liking Smith from McCarthy's days in SF.

If Moore was the best option, GM and philbin would not be bringing in 34 yr old Gerrard tomorrow after missing last year with back surgery. What does that tell you about type of QB they are looking for?
