He did play better then Chad Henne.
If Henne ever plays for us against the Jets again, and we have Marshall(or whoever) and the Jets still have Revis.
Then tell Henne like they told M Moore to throw at Marshall and Revis 15 times and see how good Henne does.
It was STUPID play calling not Matt Moore that is the problem.
Seriously, does anyone get that we just played a team that can't stop the run but has a great secondary and our idea of beating them was to throw at the best corner in football 15 times (out of 35 times).
No forced passes to Marshal takes away the Revis pick for a touchdown and puts us at at least 6-0 WINNING THE FREAKING GAME.
The Jets were looking down and needed something, a big play to get them going. Us power running into the endzone and going up 10-0 could have been the ticket to winning the game.
Instead we do one of the few things we could of done to get the Jets excited.
Even after that play we stopped the Jets again 3 and out for the 3rd time in a row and we march down to their 3 yard line again. And once again, "attempt" to pass the ball to B Marshall.
- 3-3-NYJ 3 (13:38) 8-M.Moore pass incomplete short left to 19-B.Marshall.
- 4-3-NYJ 3 (13:38) 5-D.Carpenter 21 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-92-J.Denney, Holder-2-B.Fields.
R Bush and D Thomas outran S Greene and D Tomlinson. Moore had more pass yard then Sanchez did.
The difference was the two interceptions thrown to D Revis. Both which could have been easily avoided.
THE PROBLEM WAS THE "GAMEPLAN".
We lost at least one game because our coaching staff was catering to R Bush. We lost the last game because we were catering to B Marshall. I personally would have set Marshall for a Qtr or two for his comments. It might have keep us from throwing those two picks.
But Tony is a *****.... cat. He would do anything, even lose games to keep the "love" of the "stars" on this team.
The secret to the magic of the 11-5 team is now clear. Chad Pennington ran that offense and decided what to do and we won football games. Once our coaches started having to run the offense it went down quick.
