Mora/Favre lovefest on NFLTA

They just had a segment on the AFC East QB's, who's had the best season, who should be in the Pro Bowl, who would you want leading your team. TD talked up Penne, citing his perceived lack of weapons and not turning the ball over. Then Mr. "Playoffs?!Playoffs?!" Mora blurts out the line of the year - "I have always been a lover of Brett Favre." Maybe it's me, or maybe it's the five beers I've had, but that is some funny shtuff right there. Anybody else catch that?

Well, those guys ran through scripted discussion lines. So maybe Mora is not as passionate on Favre (or TD on Pennington), but since it would make a nice discussion, the show's producers will encourage them to talk about it.

Same with every show, on every network. So don't feel too bad, Mora probably thinks higher of Pennington than what you think.

Funny thing is, the other day Mora picked the Phins to win the division. I think these guys talk so much they forget what they've said previously. Or maybe they're drinking too.

No, the discussion was mostly about "Who do you want leading your team at this time of the season". The Dolphins are mainly in the position they are in because of the play of Chad. You would think a guy who coached in the NFL would be able to put aside any man-crush he may have and look at things objectively. Especially when just the other day he picked a team who is winning because of the play of the QB(the Phins) over a team who gets put in bad situations because of the errors of it's QB (the Jets).
