More chambers loving on Daunte

you messed up the link... and put 2 http://'s in it...

nice find though...

This is why I couldnt belive it that people were dissapointed we took culpepper and not brees. and its annoying that everyone denies it now. Can you remember all the people who kept posting Culpepper's injury was "this bad" and hes just a turnover machine and blah blah blah. Daunte is more than capable of being the best quarterback in the league when hes playing well.

I hope that CC is willing to work his butt off to make their on-field relationship all it can be.

Good read....

Considering that Daunte supposedly got down to 235 pounds when we traded for him, I find the following info from the article interesting:

At 5-11, 228 pounds Thomas is impressed by the size of the 6-4, 265-pound Culpepper.

"He was scrambling today," Thomas said. "I looked at him when I came up to make the tackle. I wasn't going to tackle him because we don't have pads. But he's the first quarterback I would ever hit low because he outweighs me by 40 pounds." ...

---------------------

Did he gain back 30 pounds?? If so, why would he do that and put more pressure on that knee? :shakeno:

Throwing a nice ball and turning the ball over are 2 entirely different things.
When the game is on the line will he go into vapor lock and make a boneheaded play?
Druckenmiller threw a nice ball too. Unfortunately, the game was too fast for him mentally.
Daunte needs good coaching to keep him in the right direction. Similar to Testaverde when he played for Parcells. His options need to be simplified and distilled down so that he doesn't have to make too many reads.
