I have re-watched the Patriots/Dolphins game. Couple of more questionable calls in the 3rd quarter which helped the Patriots back into the game:

1. Deep in our zone, and the Patriots threatening to score we get called for 12 men on the field. However, when the announcers label 12 men on the field, they leave out the "5th number" thus we really had only 11? 5 yards for Brady may not have stopped him, but that's BS call.

2. Next offensive series for the Dolphins: Deep ball to Wallace is a clear pass interference that doesn't get called. Huge non-call which could have sealed the game.

I'm just surprised we didn't get called for a PI on the last series.

No specific reason. Just re-watched the game and wondered if the game might have been called differently if there wasn't so much discussion about the Browns-Pats game the week before. I just despise how certain teams get what appears to some favoritism.

yeah, I thought it was funny, but then I paused the screen and counted the players. There were not 12 guys, unless they counted someone who was leaving the field or stepped onto field? I just hate the Pats. Jets, and the Bills of the 80's.

Let it go man. The patriots will get more calls going forward. They are the darlings of the league. Just be happy we won the game.

Best numbers of that game wasn't the number 5, it was 24-20.

I don't disagree the refs made some questionable calls, but had the fix been on one of Brady's passes to the endzone would have been PI. Calls were missed but I think things were pretty even

I can't. If all goes well, we may play these guys again. I just want a fair game called.

The illegal pick play went unnoticed as well.

I agree with OP about Cleveland-pats ending and how we benefited. No way could they call game winning PI calls 2 weeks in a row for patriots.

Had the Patriots not gotten the gifted win the week before you can be sure that one of those last plays would have been a penalty against us.

I disagree with OP about this particular game. I thought it was pretty fair from ref standpoint. And with a fair playing field we finally beat patriots.

That is all I want is fair and consistent calls throughput the game.

I know I'll never see it, but I would love to see a retiring head coach or assistant coach hold a press conference in which he states that he believes the league has fixed games for the Patriots. We all believe it is true but we are not in a position to prove it. Imagine the fallout. Vegas would be apoplectic -- betting on Patriots' games would be suspended for months. Congress would hold multiple investigations. The FBI would be going over the books of the NFL with a fine toothed comb. The Patriots wouldn't get a favorable call from the refs for the next fifteen years.

No offense, but why are you bringing this up? We won didn't we? You would think we lost by bringing up these "non-calls".

Sometimes the result shouldn't effect the questioning, and too often it does. If one thing went wrong, it would be a threat about losing on non calls.

The 12 man thing looked funny to me, i guess thats why. Could you tell me what time in the game that was, i would like to recheck my recording.. Also PI seems to get called when it wants to be called, just like hibbert jumping horizontally

This incessant whining about bad calls is embarrassing.

illegal batting

I rest my case

The officiating in this game was much better than in most of our other games this year. The few calls that were missed were at least plausible, and pretty even for both teams.
