Whole article practically makes the question about whether Stephen Davis or Cadillac Williams is the best back to come from Auburn and play in the NFL, in all of history.

BTW, man Stephen Davis is a pretty ****y guy, which is no problem for me.

I'm just ticked because they barely mention Ronnie Brown in there, and there was sure as heck no "Auburn RBs Go Head to Head" stuff when Miami played Carolina in Week 3. Nothing about how Ronnie Brown drastically outperformed Stephen Davis in the matchup. Nope.

It took LaDanian Tomlinson several years to be recognized as the NFL's best running back.

You cannot be as good as Ronnie Brown is and not get any publicity. It'll come in due time. Ronnie is better than all of them.

I didn't get the impression you did at all.

Seems to me its an article about pecking order. Davis has tenure and earned the right to talk the way he did in that article.

Yea that's true I remember two seasons ago L.T. didn't even make the Pro-Bowl. They voted Portis, Priest Holmes, and Jamal Lewis ahead of them even though L.T. had the worst team and was the entire San Diego offense.

The point was the entire emphasis of the article was whether Cadillac or Davis were the best from Auburn, and while they talk about Bo and Cribbs etc, there's only cursory mention of Ronnie Brown and no mention whatsoever that Brown is outperforming (yardage-wise, I think) both Cadillac and Davis. I mean, if you're writing an article about how you interviewed Stephen Davis and asked him who the best Auburn RB in the NFL is and he says him, you would think that Cadillac Williams isn't the ONLY guy you have to talk about in there.

Let'm keep hyping up Cadillac!! We know we have something special in #23....The longer Brown is ignored, the better off it will be for us.

Bo Jackson is better than Stephan Davis and Flat Tire Williams. Hes not better than Ronnie Brown though. ;)

Thanks DolphinDynasty...I was going to say, Bo Jackson was an OKAY back out of Auburn.

Please...

It seemed to me the emphasis was on the two runners from Auburn who are about to compete in an NFL matchup this Sunday. IMO Ronnie should be a side note in that conversation.

I don't know that L.T. is considered the best back in the NFL right now. I know that Shaun Alexander, for one, is certainly giving him a run for his money as far as fantasy production goes.

And btw, that year I believe Holmes and especially Lewis deserved to go to the pro bowl ahead of LT. I mean, Lewis had over 2000 yards rushing that year, which put him in company with I believe Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, OJ Simpson, and Terrell Davis as far as NFL history goes (did I miss someone?). That was also one of Holmes' insane touchdowns years where he scored 27 freaking TDs...absolutely incredible. And Portis, he just looked pretty incredible too...had 1900 total yards and 14 TDs.

But Tomlinson did have 2400 total yards and 17 TDs so he definitely should have gone ahead of Portis.

Hey, I'd take a side note! But there wasn't even a damn side note! There was just "He also thinks that Williams and fellow rookie running back Ronnie Brown of Miami owe him a bit of gratitude for paving the road to the NFL. "

That's not a side note.

Lewis was a lock that year but holmes and portis were running behind the best run-blocking lines in the league.
L.T. is definately considered the best RB right now. Alexander has a very good line (Walter Jones, Hutchinson). L.T. is also a much better receiver than alexander.
BTW, when we start winning, Ronnie Brown will start getting respect, just like when the chargers started winning and L.T. got his.

Alot Of People Compared R.brown To Bo.jackson Cause Of His Size And Speed And Just Pure Power That He Has.
