More good news for Mcdaniel haters

It's the right approach by Ross. However, it's not about McDaniel losing the locker room. It's about McDaniel losing competitive spirit for Super Bowl. You lose that, you lose everyone.

I dont see what Ross see in McDaniel. McDaniel best plan is to go back be Oc some where else.

He HAS improved. More plays getting in early. He now apparently sees value in TEs and big RBs. Fewer sweeps on 3rd and 1.
Limiting himself. By refusing to use types of plays (e.g. , quick slants). Maybe shild have said limiting his options.
Many smart people are incapable of change. Change requires courage, not intellect
Change requires self awareness and a lack of it shows an immature wisdom of oneself

Also he has not improved at all, his team and his record has gotten worse from year 1-4, his practice methods are a joke, he continues to have ex players and coaches talk about a bad culture that is his responsibility.

Just because he ran out brunskill for one week doesn’t mean he’s changed anything

The guy never runs no huddle even when down theee scores in the fourth quarter.

Continues to run fade routes to small receivers, continues to run a lateral finesse offense, continues to miss evaluate the qb position

And is the leader if telling Grier he would rather have weapons then Oline

It took four years to bring smith down to help with speed of playcalling. His team is one of the most penalized in the game…. In year 4

He’s a lost pup and doesn’t have the organizational skills to be a head coach

We don’t know if he sees anything in Mcd
He’s most likely letting this play out
Why go through the trouble of an interim coach
McD is not gonna be any better than an interim and vice versa
McD is cleaning out his desk this January

Meh, arguing about McDaniel is pointless at this point. If he's shitcanned you just bump an assistant into a interim HC position like the current GM roll.

So it really doesn't matter who coaches the year out. If the team quit on McDaniel isn't it smart to allow him to coach? Higher draft pick.

Don't disagree. I didn't say he improved everything, but some of FH's common complaints? Yes. IMO, not enough to save his job.
"Change requires self awareness and a lack of it shows an immature wisdom of oneself" I'll accept that, but it still doesn't require intellect

I disagree, self introspection and self awareness is a form of intellect.

I’ve not seen any tangible evidence in year four that he has improved anything about his being a head coach.. nothing

Real change would of been him saying I’m giving up play calling duties so he can focus on managing and motivating the whole team on game day m, instead you will see him hide in his play sheet when things are going bad, literally I’ve seen him do it multiple times

Put him out of his misery

McGenius just needs more seasoning and a better GM to buy him the groceries. I trust Ross to make the right move. He’s very experienced at this.

Please stop this nonsense. Should the Dolphins get blown out their next game or two McD will be fired.
Remember, after the Dolphins played without effort in the second half Thursday night against the Ravens, it became obvious that McD already has one foot out the door. A bad loss against the Bills is probably the end of McD's head coach duties; certainly a one sided loss against the Bills followed by a one sided loss to the Commanders would do it.
Why would Ross still be evaluating McDaniel or the team and thinking they're not lost cause yet?

This is gonna end up being one of those grass is greener situations when this is all said and done. Were gonna get some Dan Campbell look alike to please all of you losers that are still in the closet and hes gonna end up being some retard that goes through 5 different OCs before he gets canned.

It’s all you loser’s fault!

Dumb ass post of the year, 👊

Best post of the week and possibly of the entire season! Quite a bit of truth in it as well.

2nd best dum ass post of the year, you guys are in a roll!👊

All you guys saying McD just needs “more time” is exactly how we got stuck with a GM that didn’t win **** for 10 years.

It just doesn’t make sense to give these guys that have won nothing longer windows. It’s the NFL.

Gotta disagree here again homie… lol

The Dolphins offense got “figured out” when their offensive line was decimated (and has pretty much stayed decimated since ) about 3/4 of the way through the 2023 season. Then when Tua goes down, and like all NFL teams do, they lose more often.

The “figured out” is due to the Dolphins not being able to run block. They cannot pass pro either, but McD can scheme around that and Tua (was) good enough back then to run that scheme. However, the offense, like 99.9% of offenses, is based off of the running game (or the threat of a running game). Without a threat of a running game nothing works. Then your retarded QB keeps injuring himself, your defense is total dog sheet due to injuries and no continuity between players or coaches, and your GM fills your team with bad cultured turds who want money and could care less about winning.
Damn OL! It’s all your fault, always and forever!

Is he limiting himself or is the abnormally high number of injuries, plus horrendous OL play, limiting him? When he’s had a healthy Tua AND a serviceable OL (first 3/4 of the 2023 season) his offense has been unstoppable. Maybe that’s just a coincidence, but I doubt it.
Forgot injuries. Damn OL and injuries, always and forever!

It goes both ways bro. You're making the assumption that we find someone better, and even if we do find a better HC, we gotta hit on another OC as well. Im done fist pumping for field goals, I like scoring touchdowns, and I know mcdaniel is capable of that.
