More jaw dropping Tua stats!!

That sir, sums it up very well. In a nutshell! Last 16 games vs. teams above .500....1-15.....Jeez...and the Eternal Optimists on here want to keep our HC! 3 delay of game penalties against Green Bay...for what? The brilliant plays MickeyD was calling?....I've had enough of this guy, said it many times!

Forget Purdy. Decent QB on a very well-coached team. NO WAY this guy is a better QB than Tua. Purdy participated in a Super Bowl, but if he played on the Dolphins, he would have nowhere near the stats Tua does. Tua did not give up 24 points in the 1st half a couple nights ago. He made 2 bad throws that night, had others dropped. COACHING is our problem! How can anyone not see that!?
Probably. But Purdy keeps getting it done. He's been better in the clutch than Tua, and yes he does have more talent around him on both sides of the ball.

I think it's close between Tua and Purdy. Purdy is sneaky good and underrated. Tua would probably be better on that 49ers team.

LOL this response hilarious.

Why would I rank QB's for myself? I know you won't be able to resist responding with your clever insight. LOL

Throwing a TD pass with 2 min left down 21 means absolutely nothing, meaningless garbage time STATS.

Tua is a good QB and an even better person, but he has continually come up way short when it matters. It's not all his fault either, but he's the captain of the offense. Leading the team to 10 points with 2 min left isn't getting it done.

Just putting some popcorn on, can't wait to hear back from you lol
My response to this would be to compare Tuas ”garbage time” stats to every other QB to be fair and objective.

I have no idea how his would compare. Could be the worst, could be the best, could be somewhere in between. To make a statement about it with no real comprehensive data doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Probably? Under-statement of the year.

What we do know is in the green Bay game tua's production only came in garbage time when they were already down 24-3 and GB went to sleep. The production did not come when we still had a chance to win the game. At that point tua was missing throws and doing nothing. This is objective fact and not opinion. Tua was not part of the solution in the green Bay game. And also fact, not opinion, we still only scored 17 points with them way out ahead and giving us the underneath stuff

Who knows for sure, though. I will say Purdy is noticeably better than Jimmy Garapolo. For one thing, he hits receivers in stride a lot more. He also has a knack for knowing when to run. Definitely a game manager, but he's good in that role.

Tua was 14-18 in the first half. Not garbage time. Objectively he completed 80% of his passes which is probably in the top 5% if not better of every game in the history of the NFL. Also fact is if McD would’ve run 3 times from the GB one, you wouldn’t have the same take.

who cares about being 14-18 when you are not converting first downs and you are not scoring points. not to mention, it doesn't take much to complete 14 short passes. if you people want to say "see tua was great we scored 31 points" you ought to use the same logic when we don't score points.

What’s the amount of points Miami should score to where you think they should win?

more than their opponent....it tends to work 100% of the time.
also if you were attempting to go there, the defense being bad does not mean tua was exceptionally good.
everyone and everything kind of stunk in that game in my view, with few exceptions.
i don't give tua credit for his garbage time production. and i don't give jonnu smith and tyreek credit for their coincident garbage time production either.
there were a lot of empty offensive stats produced in this game, could be an nfl record frankly.

So basically the same as every other team in NFL history regardless of who the QB is.

Your self-flagellation in this post is epic, I'll say that much. - LOL

Yes. You do when you can’t answer a simple question with a specific answer. But it’s ok. You’re not alone. “Teams should score more than their opponent”. Yes. You are correct. They should in order to win.
