We have problems on offense and there are 2 groups that are excluded from our issues. The offensive line, I listened to the game today and if I had a nickel for every time the announcers said, "The QB has plenty of time" while both Gus and Sage were in there I'b be set, and running back. No team can run the ball successfully when that's all they can do. With these runners our passing game should thrive but no team respects our QB or WR's and rightly so. Our QB's are and have been horrible, but they get no help. The anouncers were also saying our WR's and TE were getting no seperation today in man to man coverage. That's pathetic. Not to mention if we had a QB who was guarenteed to complete 100% of his passes, he would only be able to muster about a 60% completion percentage playing for us. I'm tired of folks sticking up for Chambers and McMicheal. They stink. Let me ask you guys something???? Does anyone think Brian Finneran is better than Chambers???? Probably nobody. Well he made more plays coming back and fighting for the football against us 3 weeks ago than I've ever seen Chambers make. My point, we need a #1 WR and a consistant TE as well as a QB before we our competitive again. Our skill players were more consistant in 2000 when we had Gadsden, Martin, Shepherd and a shadow of his former self in OJ McDuffie as well as Troy Drayton.

Well I know I should save myself the 3 hours but I tivoed that debacle today and am going to watch it now.

I'm with you here..... I also think that we need to concentrate on third downs... heck we're being killed on third and long..:yell:

Right on.

Sometmes all fans care about are the names on the jerseys rather then actually watching the game.

Yep. I been blaming QB and o-line all year ('cept o-line has been better the last 3 games). But some of that blame has to fall on our receivers now. The o-line has much improved and deserve credit. I can't see any stable of receivers drop so many balls and get open so seldomly as our guys lately. First they had the dropsies, then they can't even get open now? Effort anyone? Maybe the starch just came out of this team with the New England loss last week. Maybe the crappy playcalling has guys no longer commited on offense, but that's on the players. It's called character and pride and the receivers seem to lack it.

I only hope Saban tells them something like that because the nice crap isn't making them play.

Chambers and MC don't stink, but I know this: we overpayed for them.

I don't believe it's the playcalling either. If we have anyone on this team who isn't in to it when there number is called because they don't like they play call they should be cut.

Stinks exaggerated out of frustartion but these guys are nowhere near the NFL's best at their postions. I'd say there about average give or take very little.
