More questionable reasons to pick against us

Not that I think a picking against us on Sunday is a stretch, but please try to use current info. This from Jay Novachek on MSNBC.com:

The Broncos are taking a chance revamping their defensive front, but their offense is so solid that they can take some risks. They always have good running backs – Tatum Bell and Quentin Griffin should be able to carry the load -- and quarterback Jake Plummer seems to work well with receivers Rod Smith and Ashley Lelie. Smith always gets the job done, and Lelie is a speedster.

Great insight in light of the fact that Bell is not starting and Griffin isn't even on the team anymore.

Most of these sports writers don't know what they're talking about. They make snap judgements about teams based on what they saw on Sportscenter last season.

For example: all these bandwagon knuckleheads picking the Pats to run the table. It won't happen. They'll probably make the playoffs - but no team can bounce back from losing so many players and coaches all at once. Not too mention the rest of the league has had another year to study them and improve their own teams. You can only win by field goals for so long before some of those close games start going the other way.
