In his weekly press conference, Wannestadt said "Our offense will not score anymore points" Noting that 10 ppg will have to suffice. OMG, grow some balls Wanny and challenge your offense to do better!!

This is what I would have said or any coach that knows how to motivate: "Our offense will improve or changes will be made and people are going to lose their jobs"

:monkey: Wanny's motivational skills

maybe he is using reverse psychology dude. trust me, Wanne knows how much talent is on this team. Every phin fan does!
He knows that this team is better than it has showcased itself the last three weeks.

Maybe so, but I'm sick and tired of his generic panty waist statements when we stink up the field.

I'm waiting for a meltdown a la Jim Mora, lol, jk. That is counter productive but I would like to see a little emotion.

ATTITUDE REFLECTS LEADERSHIP

his hands are tied :( we have no decent QB and a weak OL. He can rant and rave, but all he really wants is to prevent TOs. That is something he must address - preventing TOs and getting Balt to cough 1 or 2 up - good luck !

But still.....conceding that your offense is no better than 10 ppg isn't exactly awe inspiring, to me that is like throwing in the towel. I was very dissappointed in that statement.

I totally agree Left coast...
I was very disapointed in Miami's attitude after the GB game...they definately played like it was a freebie...no emotion...who can you blame it on...mostly on Wanny...he's a good talent evaluator...but he's no Gruden... I believe thats definately one of the reasons for their early playoff ousters...Playoffs are the time of the year where emotions run high and you play on guts...grind it out...I dont think Wanny is not the coach that will lead us to the SB...
BTW am i the only one that thinks Zach will make a great coach ?
Great attitude ,great leadership, very intelligent he's got it all...

:monkey: Wanny for not benching Ray Charles the turnover machine

on second thought, you are right. he shouldn't be saying things like that. It could hurt Lucas confidence even more(if he has any)
the offense is just plain dead right now. Without a good qb, what are studs like Chambers and Randy McMichael worth? Amid all this offensive meltdown, i see ricky williams trying to do what he is paid to do. You can see that he doesn't let out. I didn't want to say it, but it's all Rays fault. We are in total meltdown. he is winless as the qb.

Ray Charles the turnover machine-LMAO, i love it!!

I think Zach Thomas will suceed at whatever he does. He's a winner.

very true. Zach is one hell of a player. He sees plays and dissects them. he shows heart and posseses admirable talent.

i say we go to Sundays game with banners that read

JAY LUCAS

he got offended when a reporter called him jay lol.
I would do it to get him pist off man. He deserves it.

I give credit to Dave by making the statment he made basicly he is challenging their manhood on offence will it work who know

So, Toe-Cutter, ...

Are you a podiatrist or something, or am I just lapsing on the actual significance of the name?

Hmmm... let me try this:

Quick! What is Hallux Rigidus?

"Toe-Cutter" was the name of the bike-gang leader in the original Mad Max.

Maybe it's time to talk to the Saints again about Jake Delhomme :D
