:yell:
It absolutely profounds me! Some people are suggesting that we ought to run the ball more, and that if we run the ball more, we'd win games.
They're the same people who, after the first game of the season, said they were glad we were no longer running the ball as we once did -- because then we become one-dimensional and start losing games.
The fact of the matter is, no matter how effective your running game is, you need the passing game to go along with it. If we run, run, run every play, we're going back to the DW and JJ era. We don't want that, now do we?
So, it's safe to say that the running game is there -- and will always be there. It'll just take time for the passing game to get in sync -- at which times, you'll see more of the running game.
So, one more time -- give it time. This is Saban's first half of the season. I think that bu the end of the year, this team will be on fire.
