PFW has Greenwood as the 5th worse off-season move of the year to this point. I guess Saban made a good choice in letting him go.:)

Well Houston signed him to a rediculous contract that no fool besides Rick Spielman would dare to match.

I agree. The money Greenwood wanted and got was just crazy. Crowder is a better player then Greenwood, so I am happy about how it turned out.

I thought Wanny/Spielman let go of Greenwood?

Can't blame Greenwood for the deal. He was confident he could get that kind of deal. And the Texans gave it to him. He's a good ugy. So props to him for taking care of his family for a long time.

But the Texans do seem to severely overpay one of our free agents each offseason. Last year it was Todd Wade getting a 5-year, $25 million deal ($10 million bonus). This year it was Morlon's 5-year, $22.5 million deal ($7 million bonus).

PFT rated Wade the worst tackle in the AFC so far. And from what little I've seen, he looks like the same guy he did here, i.e. getting owned in pass protection.

As much as we need a RT ,Wade was overated and not worth the money he was seeking.

Greenwood has never been a spectacular player but he is steady and reliable. He was overpaid though IMO.
