Said people within the organization already fear they lost their jobs and ireland is without a doubt gonna be gone. Says the league wants to restore a once proud franchise & completely implement a whole new organizational structure in miami. Philbin is probably gone too

I'm ok with both being gone but does the NFL have that authority to tell Ross who he fires?

Mike Silver also said Ireland is very likely to be fired.

Hmmm. Where is he getting his info from? It its true, I would be all for it. I don't like the constant turn of staff either but if you have disfuntional ppl heading your staff you have to find a good one before it can be cemented...

If it means Dawn and Jeffy are gone then I am for it....

Clean everything out and build from the bottom up...**** this spit and band aide ****. They're right, this was once a proud franchise.

This is way out of control

But Ireland is done and who can stand up for a guy who isn't too good at his job to begin with

What happened to Martin is happening in High schools and such throughout N.A. -> RI was tsanding up for his lineman trying to make him into his protege... The NFL will have a scab for a long time over this..., how far it escalated but the media had to throw fuel on it that's gonna bind the NFL

BTW

I was asked to run at a 200+ linemen in my grade 11 year, the dude wouldn't tackle so the coach just kept running me at him..., I was 50 pounds lighter, but physical, that said, this was back in 1986 - was this "bullying" ??? I ddin't see it that way the coaches were "screaming" at this guy to drill me - he just didn't have it in him.... Neither did Martin -> he was happy being an average NFL LT

The NFL has a "head hunting program" where they can set up an organizational structure for franchises. I think that his what Mort is suggesting.

IF I was Ross, I would be eager to do this especially if it means avoiding major penalties from the league.

Ross basically gave them permission and asked them to do this when he ordered the NFL Investigation and said he would accept its recommendations.

Perhaps try to add Marino into the Dolphin's organization somehow (Team President?) to help bring back a degree of respectability.

Didn't know that....I knew they could apply pressure to make a change, but didn't know they could actually force a team to make changes...protect the shield.
