Yesterday, I was watching First Take (I know, I know, it's a garbage show), but Steven A. Smith highly insinuated and all but called Chip Kelly a racist. Later that day, Gore backed out of his deal with Philly.

One has to wonder if that opinion got back to Gore...

If it did, you would then have to wonder if it is accurate. Gore's a grown man. He's not going to be letting ESPN commentators make decisions for him. Unless Chip Kelly is racist, Gore wouldn't let claims of racism scare him off millions of dollars in a RB-friendly system.

I think Gore likes his chances with Luck better than Foles (at the time). I don't think it had anything to do with S.A. Smith.
