Mortensen: Peyton Manning may not decide on new team this week

So if he won't decide for a week and he's not taking any trips how the hell is he going to negotiate this new deal with a new team? I don't think its just the Broncos and Cardinals in play. Peyton will not go to a cold weather city and play in snow his last 3 years, doesn't make a lick of sense.

Has anyone noticed that Jay Glazer is the most reliable NFL info guy out there, and he also happens to be the only guy who keeps his mouth shut until there is something to actually report? Every 5 minutes one of the idiots from ESPN has something to say, but Glazer just sits back and waits for credible info. Just an observation. That's what reliable reporters do.

update: As i stated earlier Manning will decide by Friday. updated odds: 33.3 for all three teams. freaking denver has pulled an al davis offer. I still give the edge to miami. Philbin will be the deciding factor either way, not ireland or ross. keep your fingers crossed for him. ross is also making an al davis offer.

33.3 odds per team is the chicken crap way out but it truely is this close.

Crap or get off the pot Manning. I hope we don't let him string us along so we can look stupid again.

The Ponytail John Clayton is pretty dead on too.

Manning HAS to know that this decision is going to affect how his perspective teams approach free agency. I don't understand why he would allow that to happen to whatever team he eventually chooses. It doesn't make any sense... Unless he's just a completely selfish bastard and it really is all about the money.

Manning said from the get go it's down to Denver, AZ and Miami... The only way he would have dropped Miami from one of his choices without even talking to us means one of two things happened, he either was blown away by Denver or AZ, or Miami told him they are no longer interested... I don't think either has happened.

We'll get our chance to talk with him.

Miami DONT MISS OUT ON FLYNN. This is totally setting this team up to be left at the altar yet again...this time by MULTIPLE people.

If Peyton won't make a decision by tomorrow 4 PM, F him. It will then be time to move on. Flynn is out there, and the Dolphins cannot lose both Manning and Flynn. Talk about a disaster for the Dolphins if that were to occur.

Ross allowed Fisher to use this franchise, I doubt Ross makes the same mistake twice.

Glazer is the ONLY guy I trust...
