Randy said this about Davis: "Look, I'm heading out of this league. You're coming in. You're going to be a good player. Keep working."

Which is better?
1-A hall of fame WR from a division rival praised our rookie CB?
2-Moss is "heading out of this league" meaning we wont have to face him in a few years?

#1 by far. I think it takes quite a showing to get praise from another teams player much less a rival.

I remember people used to call Randy a cancer and ****. lol This guy is far from a cancer, he's been pretty damn classy. Moss saying he's heading out of this league is just an expression, he doesn't literally mean he's leaving the game soon. He can probably play at a high level for another 2-3 seasons.

Moss praising Davis is definitely better. Davis is OUR player. We all knew eventually that Moss would be on his way out or he could possibly traded. We never knew we'd get a lockdown dude like Davis has the potential to be. I'll take that any day of the week. Every player is on his way out of the league at some point.

Moss playing on ****ty teams, like we were when he was available, is a cancer. That's not something the Pats have had to worry about in a decade.

#1 is better by far. Davis did a good job covering him yesterday so in a few more years with Moss's age and Davis's experience he should be able to cover him even better. Nobody makes that one handed catch in the first quarter but Moss. Davis was all over him.

Every week Davis shows me something special... i can honestly say, i have never seen a corner make plays in the run game like Davis does... i was so damn worried when the Dolphins drafted him because of all the rumors surrounding him ... but so far he has played almost like a veteran out on the field... Smith has abilities, as well ... but Smith seems to need more seasoning in covering that quick slant-in pattern ... he's been beaten on that over and over... he needs to learn how to better position himself to stay on his man when the WR cuts in!!! Davis is a beast, where as Smith is a mini beast right now ... but overall they are gaining experience and will be better players for it...

Davis took his lumps from Moss yesterday but overall played well. he is going to be force for this team. I don't know of very many rookies that you would even consider putting in that situation. imagine how good he would have looked if they had put any real pressure on the QB

I know Moss is a beast, I really do, but for god's sake people, VONTAE WAS INJURED when he got torched all those times after the two awesome plays he made. I'm not sure Moss has that big of a game if vontae doesn't get hurt. It looked like a quad injury and those don't just go away. I'm sure everyone here noticed Vontae running slower after getting injured.

Starting two rookie corners and a 2nd year QB, we all knew deep inside that this season was going to be about conditioning. I feel a lot better about next year, and I expect to see this team get stronger as the season goes on.

hes a tad aggressive at times as he was flagged twice for getting there too soon, but I love this kid. rather him be aggressive then be tentative like sean smith is being
