1998 divisional round blowout by DEN 38-3
Just being outscored 127-10 in 3 consecutive playoff losses

so you guys tell me, what terrible memories have I successfully blocked out ? :)

That's a pretty inclusive list. Super bowl 17 when Theisman stripped Bokamper of a game-cynching INT on the goal line still haunts me. And Super Bowl 19? Ugh, sickening.
Not so much that Miami lost, but they were hammered. San Fran was 15-1 that year, and I wasn't sure Miami could win, but I thought it would be an exciting shootout.
Barf.

On the other hand... The good thing about all these undoubted painful memories is that most of them involve the post season. This franchise has such a rich history that our idea of pain is Arizona's idea of bliss.

1974.World Football League forms.the end of the dolphin dynasty.

i went to that jacksonville game a tv crew interviewed me and asked who did i think would win, and of course i said miami. I felt like a retard just after the first quarter. And to make things worse the j-ville fans were threating to kick my *** at half-time for no reason at all i would have whoped a couple of them but they were like you touch em and we will all jump you ! thats when i said you guys were all dolphin fans before your city got a team...and they shut up !...LOL

Brutal day. LONG ride home from Jax. I'm just thankful my pre-game boasting wasn't caught on film like yours.

Yes and that's the recent history...

I've said it before, but for anybody who lived thru it, the "Sea of Hands" game against the Raiders in the '74 playoffs takes the cake...nothing even comes close.

99 divisional round loss to Jags 62-7

Hands down. JJ at his worst as a coach, having childishly run his team into the ground in practices leading up to the game. The most lopsided blowout score in modern football history, and it happened in the playoffs. Shameful end to the greatest player in Fins history.

recent is when we lost with 6 seconds left on a qb keeper to the texans this season that was pretty disappointing

I was only 8 at the time of the 85 AFC title game so I don't really remember to much of that as well as Super Bowl XIX. The home loss to Buffalo in the AFC title game crushed me for months. I don't really think I've ever got over that. :( Every time I watch highlights of that Super Bowl, seeing the egg Buffalo put down, I want to puke. I can't help to think that we wouldn't have turned the ball over 9 times.

The loss to Jacksonville was bad but I really did not expect that much out of that game.

The Monday Night Stink Job where I almost broke my hand by punching a wall was crappy.

If the Houston Oilers would have taken care of the huge lead in the wildcard game against Buffalo that year the Bills would have been knocked out. How in the hell do you blow a 32 point lead?
