Our O-line has done a great job this year .. Gus has not been sacked that often and our running game is doing alot better... there has been alot of improvements and changes to this year than last year .. but i feel this as been our biggest improvement

No question the offensive line, Seth McKinny in particular has done and outstanding job

Without question. It's the OL all the way.....

PHINZ RULE!!!

I'd give it to James, McKinney and Hadnot because teams can no longer just run stunts to easily get to our QB.

I agree too.I've been saying for a while now that o-line is not a priority anymore during the offseason. The best thing is that they're not old either and they've been together only a year and a half so they can still get better.

Ozzy rules!!

I think Crowder has gotten better every week also. But an "award" would yes, have to go to the Oline.

No doubt and this bodes well for the future with this young group we've got a key foundation on which to build. They should only get better the more they play together.

It's a consensus. its the oline. I had said in the offseason that McKinney and Carey would be good this year and was almost universally insulted and called crazy. The only reason I felt both would be good was we brought in Houck and it takes two to three years for offensive linemen to bulk up and get their techniques down. All of the younger fans here should keep that in mind if we draft some offensive linemen next year and they dont do anything right away. Two or three years is the time you need to evaluate young linemen

The entire O-line gets my vote. I don't know if it was they kept the same guys in place(mostly). or if it was HH but they win.

The O-line has improved, yes. However there is still time for improvement, the holes that need to be there in the running game still are not there and they need to give the QB alittle bit more time....around a 1/4 to 1/2 second more. My vote for most improved is Crowder......3rd round pick starting and doing well for a rookie.

O-line. These are basically the same players who played last year and the results are a complete 180. McIntosh seems to have solidified the LT spot now that he is healthy. Not sure if we spend tons of money on a rookie LT unless someone falls into our laps unexpected. Jeno James, believe it or not, almost seems like the weak link now. He has been penalized many times recently and due to his age and contract, I wouldn't be surprised if he is replaced in the offseason. He has been solid though. Good to see him bounce back from a traumatic training camp. Rex Hadnot needs improvement as well but remember, he is a late roundpick who is starting in the NFL. He is obviously doing something right. Vernon Carey had tapped some of his potential and kept the reserves on the bench. He should continue to improve in the coming years.

Thie biggest leap in improvement though has to go to Seth McKinney. The guy went from public enemy number one to barely being mentioned. Trust me, that is a good thing. He seems to have finally figured out how to play the position a little bit and who knows? Maybe he will turn out to be actually....good! I dunno if he powdered his butt to make it less sweaty or what, but the center to QB exchange has been virtualy flawless. In fact, the only times I remember them being botched were on the shotgun formation where Frerotte couldn't handle the ball. Even if one of those turned into a TD so...

I think runner up has to go to two people. Vonnie Holliday. This guy was an underachieving injury prone player elsewhere. He has been nothing but good since he donned Miami's colors. Also, Wes Welker. Everyone knows he could run back punts and kicks. Hell people know he could even kick a field goal if needed. Did anyone know he could be so effective as a receiver? He has turned himself into a threat every time he is on the field. I just wish we would utilize him more often.

It has been nice watching the O-Line play the last 3-4 weeks....less stupid penalties, less mistakes and sacks given up....they are giving Gus plenty of time to throw it and blocking well. Way to go Hawk!!!! :)
