Warning: If you don't wish to speculate/discuss next year's draft yet, THEN DON'T POST.........AND MOVE ON...

IMHO, I think our 1st rounder is likely to be spent on either:

DT, CB, QB, or LT

(depending on how these positions develop or not this year)

IMHO, we won't be using our 1st on:

LB, S, DE, G, C, RB, TE or WR

Your thoughts????

we'll be picking around 8-12 and we'll pick either Jon Scott or Charlie Whitehurst.

I'd love for us to be able to go up and get Leinart, but don't think that will happen.

Jimmy Williams CB Virgina Tech 1st pick and Antonio Cromartie CB FSU tore ACL 7th pick or Undrafted Rookie FA

if ricky comes back, and performs like the old ricky, and ronnie developes fast we will have trade bait to move up in the 1st round next year. hopefully someone hire up needs a back, and are willing to take ricky

I think a TE is in the mix, Randy has given the phins a opportunity to play hardball with a contract extension next year.

I agree. However I see QB in round 1 and a TE in round 2 or 3.

Well the top 3 positions that seems most likely to be drafted next year, I would say are: QB, LT, and DT, but not necessarily in that order. But I trust Saban's judgement of not reaching for a pick for need like Wannstedt had done so many times so we could end up taking a CB or S or LB if they're a steal or a BPA.

I said QB but that is just because it just seems to be the most glaring issue. Still I figure there is a biiig chance that someone who is young and we think will pan out (Vernon Carey, Wright, Daniels and Poole, Tillman, Bell, Boston, Booker) will not pan out, or Feeley actually turns out to be good, and so... it will be a whole different story

Watch out for Chad Greenway. The guy can play both moving forward from the LB position to moving backward in coverage. The 3/4 is about linebackers, I can easily see Saban pulling the trigger on a special LB like Greenway. He will command the attention of any offense we go against.

Chad Greenway, OLB, Iowa.

hey guys , how is it going ? listen i have to give a honnest opinion here and say that dt would be my highest priority then qb, randy will probally still be around unless he pisses saban off and saban wants to bring in a te, but thatcan be addressed in a trade. it looks like dt and qb are the hardest positions to find a stud player at , am i wrong on this ?

if not a qb which is wat i picked then i see us taking a defensive back but the florida state corner cromartie is only a junior so he wont declare or the draft

Plus he just sustain a ACL, which means he'll end up playing his senior year to try and get back some millions he'd lose if he went for the draft next year.

Isn't Cromartie a junior this year? He would probably stay and play his senior year...unless I am mistaken.
