I was checking out the Saints forum, and they made a valid point, WE ARE ONLY 6.3 MILLION dollars under the cap.

We are in great need of secondary, offensive line, and 1 or two linebackers for the 3-4 system. But that can be easily found in the draft.

I think the most you will see signed through free agency from the Dolphins is Drew Brees signing a multi year contract, either Ashworth or Mawae signed (or maybe both), and maybe David Givens coming to Miami.

Hopefully, if we can acquire those four, and do SOME CONTRACT RESTRUCTURING (Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, and Kevin Carter for the love of god, restructure your contracts already) then we definitely have had a successful Free Agency period.

Remember, we haven't cut Gus Frerrote yet.

I think we can restrcuture JT and Zach quite easilly and save upwards of $10 million dollars. So I dont think funds will be a problem this offseason.

Bottom line is we can definatly find the cap space. I just think that Saban hasnt taken any actions to find more until it is needed. It makes sense, why go to your veteren players to clear more cap when it might not be needed. They will respect it more if you go to them after you made a couple big signings. Also why cut Gus until you are sure you have his replacement.

Booker/Mare will stay. Zach/Taylor/Carter I think will restructure for the better of the organization. Bowens/Boston/Gus/McIntosh or McDougle/Eddie Moore and Wade Smith to be cut as well, or should at least.
