His name is Josh Barrett, and there's no secret about this kid. He's a projected 2nd or 3rd round pick.

He would be a great addition, but the fact we have NINE safeties on our roster doesn't make drafing a safety a high priority.

Our safeties don't necessarily suck . . . could they be better . . . sure . . . but we have several guys at safety . . . that we can use as depth . . . . and Bell was shining hard when he played and is a HUGE reason why our D collapsed early last year and couldn't recover.

I think with Jason Allen and Bell . . . we have our starters . . . and with Hill, Crocker, Davis and potentially Daniels and Bryan . . . that is PLENTY of depth for safety. We have numerous positions that need upgrading . . . and safety is probably the BEST position we have on the team. I would much rather seek picks at OT, OG, CB, MLB, OLB, DT, DE, NT, WR, TE, QB and even RB . . . before we go S.

dude. we got way bigger needs brosuf. safety is way down the list of problems. while we all know some extra safety help would be nice, but those of us that know our team's needs understand that maimi might not draft any safeties this year. i like zbikowski, but what position do we neglect to get him? make sense?

Hey if a safety slips and gives us value in the 3rd round . . . I wont object to taking him . . . but we just have so many places where we can upgrade . . . I serously doubt we look at safety . . .but anything is possible. Maybe at the end of last season . . . safety was a HIGH priority . . . but I gotta think with the Davis and Crocker additions . . . that showed me that we may neglect safety in this draft and we have confidence in Bell and Allen to start for this team.

like what bell did for us when he step in the whole defense IMPORVED!!!!!!! But bell is to injury prone ever since dave was our coach. by get a good hard hitting stud safety with 4.3 speewould Improve the whole d. if you can'T see that than thers a problem. all I know is i'm getting tired of teams think that they can pass on us like its nothing.
