Bills wide receiver Eric Moulds is expected to be cut loose after the season. Moulds, who caught 88 passes last season, has just 54 through 11 games and is averaging a career-low 9.5 yards per catch. His 2006 salary-cap number is $11 million.

I wouldnt mind having him here, the only problem is that hes aging and he may be too expensive.

I vote undecided because it would largely depend on price. He'd be a welcome addition to what would likely become a 3 man WR rotation if he came cheap. You'd have to move Booker or Chambers to bring him in if he was more expensive, and I don't see how that would be worthwhile at all.

wow larry johnson cares about how people look at him in kc...they wont care what your worrying if you run for many more 100 yard games...

he wants that money
but he plays pretty funny
Olm men dont keep going like the energizer bunny
Spitting aint scoring
and his numbers are boring
Aint no corners he's flooring
Aint no fields he's soaring

MOULDS WILL NOT BE CUT!!

ill sum it up for ya,

he has a 11 million cap hit. so ok, thats to high. BUT if we cut him the Bills only save 5.7 million in cap space. Evans is not ready to be the #1, and Reed SUCKS and wont be resigned, Parrish is not ready to be the #2 WR.

so we would have to sign a FA WR who could be our #1 WR. How much do you think he would cost agenst the cap? A LOT!.

so we would save some money, only to spend it on a replacement WR who does not know the team or playbook as well as moulds. hes also a leader on the team.

it would be asinine for the Bills to cut moulds. MAYBE after NEXT season, but not after this season.

chill bro. I'm just citing a source.

Well at least you know he would spit on his old team if they cut him LOL

I don't want Mould here. Moulds was a great WR, but his tank is starting to run low.

Does anyone know how much amoritized bonuses are left in M.Booker's contract? Because looking at the Salary Cap Page, I don't see any. If that was correct then we would not owe M.Booker anything for the rest of his contract and would save a total of $3 million towards cap space by cutting him this offseason. Don't think that that is correct though.

Moulds has the same problem Our wr's have(no not dropping balls) No qb throwing the ball to them. When Holcomb Played Moulds had a couple good games. when it was Losman he wasn't getting the ball

The sight is correct, we pay only Booker salary. The Bears paid him the big bonus money part of his contract and that "came due" on their cap when they traded Booker. We only are responsible for Booker's salary and any yearly incentive/roster bonuses that might be on his contract.

I'm pretty darn sure that is correct -- the Bears took the hit on his bonuses when they traded him. We'd also lose the best receiver on the team. If the number is objectionable, the no-brainer approach is to re-do his deal. He's not an asset this team needs to lose.
