Brian Allee-Walsh, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints S Dwight Smith called Buffalo Bills WR Eric Moulds a "coward" for spitting on one his teammates as the teams walked to their dressing rooms at halftime of their Week 4 game. Moulds' actions led to a brief skirmish. "One of your brothers gets spat on, we're going to react," Smith said. "I just believe it was a cowardly act."

Seems to me that I recall Moulds spitting in Surtain's face a few years back & PS reacted and got flagged for a PF. If the above story is true then I'm of the opinion that Moulds is a b!tch! But if we could somehow get Moulds locked in a room with Romonowski then that would be one heck of a moist showdown!

The bills are getting really tired of Moulds. A lot of bitching about lacking production despite getting paid well.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they would take a big cap hit if they traded/released him right now, but I could see it after the year is over. He might be in line for a benching though with his antics plus the lack of production.

your crazy.

if he only has 2 receptions and we loose the game, i better hear him saying something. hes a leader. hes not "bitching", hes stating the obvious. he is getting paid well, but that doesnt mean he should shut up and be happy loosing.

and hes not the one with the lack of production.

NOONE is getting tired of moulds in buffalo.

and it would be VERY foolish for the bills to cut him after this season.

the day we bench moulds over some small thing like this, is the day the sky really is falling. even the idea of benching moulds is crazy.

and as i said before, hes not the one with the "lack of production".

EDIT: the cap hit for releasing Moulds is large. but his cap hit next season is very large. but in any case, Evans is not ready to be the #1. so he stays.

I really hope the Bills would bench him for next sunday's game. Moulds have had alot of success against our DB's throuhout the years.

Moulds has always been a low-class kind of guy. Shrug. He ain't the only one in the NFL, though.

Take a look over on your message board. There ARE people calling for a trade. Actually I read one this morning where someone was wanting to trade Moulds for a QB. So I guess there's people in Buffalo that are tired of Moulds AND Losman :rofl3:

you would think the words professional infront of football player may mean something but when your a low class that is just what you are. I understand trash talking, but to spit on somebody that is just stupid. I would rather have seen him punch him, if he did something so bad to get spit on then he should have gotten punched.

well let be say this:
ANY bills fan wanting to trade Moulds now or after this season is a FOOL. plain and simple.

i might do it in madden, but in real life, there is no way in hell we should or would. atleast not after this season. his cap # is high, but his cap penalty is also high. we would not be gaining that much in cap space, and we would loose a leader, and a #1 WR. Evans is not ready for that job.

At this point you consider someone who has a temper tantrum and SPITS in someones face a leader? I call that a baby.
