Since Matt Roth and the size and disposition to play LB as we are finding out why not try him at one of the middle positions? At 280 lbs. and somewhat of a liability in coverage maybe inside would be a better spot for him. What say you?

I say if it ain't broke don't fix it. He's playing like a beast right where he is. Keep him there. Let him get acclimated. You watch. He'll get better...
Roth may be somewhat of a liability in coverage but he stuck pretty well to Antonio Gates in the 4th quarter of the San Diego game that Rivers had to throw the ball away instead of trying to force the ball into coverage.Since Matt Roth and the size and disposition to play LB as we are finding out why not try him at one of the middle positions? Based on what? Did you watch Roth play OLB in the San Diego game?if we find a true OLB edge rusher next year (say, very early in the draft) then i say absolutely make that switch. he would be better fit for ILB than OLB in the 3-4. but for now he is doing great.
