Houston just traded their backup QB to the Vikings. If they were interested in John Beck, how much more would we have to give them to trade places in the 1st round.

Texans have the 15th pick.

we would have to give our first, a second, and a mid next season prolly. not worth it, unless BJ falls (he wont)

Not worth the price to move up. If we got a 5th rounder for Beck we would be doing good. A 28 yr old QB who has never produced outside the Mountain West Conference is not what alot of teams are looking for. He will be a hell of a Clip Board holder though for someone one day.

The texans are talking about signing patrick ramses to be their backup. if not him they will sign someone like rex grossmen, bryan leftwich, or chris simms. they arent going to trade for beck. not even for a 4th, which they got for rosenfels. that would be stupid.

trading up to get crabtree or bj raji would make me very happy

raji might be untouchable, he's a sure fire top15 pick imo and we can't trade up that far... but crabtree has some concerns right now and all the other WRs have had a strong showing in the senior bowl and combine... he might slip out of the top 10-15 ... i know many wouldn't agree with the move but from my perspective, he's the guy who impressed me the most this year with herzlich... rashad johnson comes in third ( of course, im not saying they are the top 3 players, but they were the biggest surprises to me, and they do show that capacity to play WELL on sundays)

We have too many holes to fill and this year's draft is deep in talent. I would much rather trade down and get extra picks.

Do the Texans have any players on their roster that Parcells coveted in prior drafts?

I'd guess if any it would be LB or OL.
